EAST COKER COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

East Coker Community Primary School is a middle sized school for pupils aged between 4 - 11 years. Our core catchment is the village of East Coker together with the surrounding villages of East Chinnock, Pendomer and Hardington as well as an area of Yeovil. A growing proportion of our pupils come to us from outside this catchment area from other villages and other parts of Yeovil. Our annual admission number is 30 pupils from Y1-Y6 and 38 for Reception and we currently have over 220 pupils on roll. We have recently moved to a seven class school and some classes are mixed age. We have a very good staff to pupil ratio... We are a seven class village school with a very friendly and caring ethos. The school is set in beautiful surroundings in the village of East Coker which is just on the edge of Yeovil.
