Eileen Richter

Eileen Richter has over 40 years of pediatric experience in a variety of settings, including children's hospitals, public schools, preschools and neonatal intensive care units. She has extensive background in sensory integration theory and treatment, is NDT certified, and has completed the NDT Baby Course. She has lectured throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia on topics related to sensorimotor integration, oral motor/respiratory development and pediatric occupational therapy. She helped establish and Co-Directed the Avanti Camp in Wisconsin (a sensory integration summer camp for children with sensory processing disorders) for many years. Ms. Richter has been instrumental in bringing continuing education opportunities to thousands of therapists around the country through Professional Development Programs and is now developing therapeutic equipment and other resources under the brand Richter Active Integration Resources. Eileen developed the Baby Boundex™ , a unique clinical piece of equipment that is being produced and marketed by Tumbl Trak. Ms. Richter has published several professional books and articles on sensory-motor integration assessment and treatment for children with developmental delays and sensory processing problems. Irene Ingram

Irene Ingram is a 1978 graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a pediatric occupational therapist who loves learning, problem solving and helping each child reach their potential. Irene specializes in treating head/neck/torso issues from a neuromuscular and developmental approach. She creatively uses reflexes to integrate their systems. She cleverly pulled together methods to treat emotional systems via movement and reflexes. Irene's creativity and vision is her gift to the profession and children. She sees layers of the healing process in each child and addresses her teachings accordingly. Irene has taught nationally and uses a hands on approach so that therapists leave with take away skills. She is founder of Therapeutic Designs and Services, which is a sensory integration clinic in operation for 40 years.

Nancy Lawton-Shirley

"I believe in supporting a child's body, mind, and spirit connection. This helps a child find his/her true potential and connects him/her to a positive sense of self and the world. We have available to us now many high intensity programs that support rapid changes in the child's sensory motor mastery, which in turn nurtures and helps support the child's spirit and capacity for learning." Nancy is an occupational therapist who has integrated many therapeutic techniques into her pediatric and adult practice. Her extensive study and skill in such approaches as Auditory Integration Training, Brain Gym, sensory integration and sensory processing, Therapeutic Listening, Samonas Sound Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy and Myofascial Release has led to an eclectic practice that focusses on the child's needs and the most efficient way to help the child achieve positive outcomes. She specializes in sensory processing and energy work and is continually adding knowledge of cutting edge technology to her treatment repertoire. She is a certified Berard AIT Trainer and a Higher Brain Living facilitator.
