With nearly two decades in the field of information technology and security, Edward has led our team through more than 1000 successful cybersecurity audits and incident responses. He's known for his hands-on approach, blending technical know-how with strategic thinking to deliver real-world advice. Edward isn't just about the tech; he's a communicator at heart, having shared his insights at over 50 events worldwide and helped shape the future of cybersecurity training for the Australian Defence Force. Beyond the boardroom, Edward proudly serves in the Australian Army Reserve, where his experiences on operational deployments and multi-national exercises give him a unique perspective on security challenges. Accredited as an IRAP assessor, Edward's passion for protecting what matters most is at the core of everything we do at Mercury.

Niru Verma, our COO, is the strategic mind that helps steer Mercury through the complex world where technology, security, and project management meet. With over 15 years in the national security industry, Niru has a knack for providing clear, actionable advice to senior leaders, even in the most challenging environments. She's led teams and projects across both public and private sectors, bringing a mix of Prince2 certification and Agile project management skills to the table. Niru's experience includes working with major federal departments like Prime Minister & Cabinet, Defence and Home Affairs, where her guidance has been key in navigating sensitive and complex issues. Her strong academic background, with degrees in Information and Communication Technology and National Security Policy, complements her practical expertise. At Mercury, Niru is all about making sure our operations run smoothly, so our clients can stay secure and focused on their goals.
