Dr. Harold Newball

Dr. Harold Newball was trained in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, with further training in Chest Diseases at The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health. Dr. Newball joined The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a Professor of Medicine and his research led to well over 100 publications of articles in prestigious medical journals, chapters in several books, and his book entitled "Immunopharmacology of the Lung." He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is certified by the America Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board Subspecialty of Pulmonary Diseases. He was awarded memberships in a number of Professional Societies including: The American Physiological Society, the American Association of Immunologist, the American Association of Pathologist, the American Federation for Clinical Research, the American College of Chest Physicians (of which he is a Fellow), the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology (of which he is a Fellow), the American College of Physicians (of which he is a Fellow), and the American Thoracic Society. He has served as a consultant for Research Site visits for the National Institutes of Health, has served on the Editorial Boards of several prestigious scientific journals, and has held offices and appointments to a number of National Medical Societies. Dr. Newball is an international motivational speaker, medical consultant, and Nobel Award nominee.

Dr. Jaclyn "Jakie" Thomson

Dr. Thomson obtained a B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry from the University of Victoria, and a Ph.D. for the University of British Columbia, specializing in "green" organometallic and analytical chemistries. During her tenures, Dr Thomson taught fellow undergraduate students, was a safety officer, inspector, and floor warden; and a member of the departmental safety committee. In addition to committee work, Dr. Thomson was a spokesperson for the department during public and alumni events. While completing the research requirements for her Ph.D., she broadened her teaching experience working as a laboratory teaching assistant, instructing and supervising large numbers of undergraduate students possessing a wide range of skill, experience, and English language proficiency. Dr. Thomson is an expert in quality assurance protocols, having created policies, training, standard operating procedures, and general quality assurance practices for one of Canada's leading research manufacturers. In addition to routine quality assurance, and safety, she was involved in all regulatory affairs, new product formulation, and research and development activities. Dr. Thomson has worked closely with a number of certification and licensing agencies including: the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Health Canada, the Canadian Health Food Association, the United States Pharmacopeia, the American Botanical Council, the BC Ministry of Agriculture, and others. Dr. Thomson has published a ground-breaking academic manuscript regarding the extensive worldwide problem of Ginkgo Biloba adulteration in the journal Phytomedicine and has been involved in a number of other related research projects. Dr. Thomson attended and presented at numerous conferences, including the Canadian Society of Chemistry, and has published a number of manuscripts during her university and industry tenures, in peer-reviewed academic journals. Dr. Thomson remains a member of the University Chemistry Society.

Dr. Rose Backman

Dr. Rose Backman, Ph.D, -- Dr. Backman holds a Ph.D. in clinical Nutrition from the American College of Indianapolis. She is certified in Contact Analysis from Parker College of Chiropractic Medicine in Dallas Texas. She holds numerous certifications in Medical technique and is certified in Nutrition response treatment. Dr. Backman is a highly regarded and much sought after lecturer; she has a popular weekly radio show and is a regular guest on Voice of America.

Jean Burke

Jean earned her Bachelor of Arts at California State University, Sacramento in Psychology with a focus in Behavioral Psychology and Sports Performance. As a collegiate athlete, Jean's involvement in competitive sports, and her passion for health and physical performance fashioned a seamless transition into a career in the Natural Products Industry. During her 20 years of industry experience Jean has worked with Fortune 500 companies including positions in manufacturing, product distribution, direct field sales, key account management, category management and purchasing. She also spent several years in retail Regional Management with Sears and Whole Foods Market giving her a unique understanding of the complexities of brand management with the intricacies and realities of retail. As Vice President of Sales and Operations, she is responsible for implementing market opportunities for expanding Nuumara's overall vision, mission, values and strategic direction, while sustaining Nuumara's scientific reputation of excellence. Jean‘s focus and skill in building respectful relationships on all sides of the business has been the foundation of her reputation as an honest collaborator and creator of retail/vendor partnerships. ​

John Danylowich - CEO

Danylowich attended the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has served as CEO of several companies, including one of the youngest held positions as a CEO within a fortune 500 company. His responsibilities involved building the company's vision, a tactical plan coordinating operational activities at the highest level of management including its overall growth towards global initiatives. During His tenure he received numerous sales and marketing awards, consistently producing the highest sales volume per square foot and the highest level of repeat customer sales and consumer retention in both the retail and catalogue division. John continued in this capacity for nineteen years. Danylowich opened two, leading edge, protocol progressive Medical Centres in Vancouver. Integrative Medical Clinics with a multiple disciplinary team of health care professionals (Medical Doctors, Naturopathic Doctors, Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors, Doctors of Chiropractic, Homeopathic Practitioners, Medical Hypnosis, Hyperbaric Physicians - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy [HBOT], Massage Therapists and Councilors). For the last twelve years Mr. Danylowich has worked with and consults for a number of esteemed academic institutions, a global group of scientists, researchers, medical and healthcare professionals.
