Mediation is a method of conflict resolution that provides an alternative to costly litigation in a wide range of circumstances: Divorce, Child Support, Parenting Time/Custody, Family/Elder Disputes, Workplace Matters, Business Disputes, Neighbor/Neighbor and other Civil Litigation... These are processes by which parties involved in a dispute, whether or not an action has been filed in court, agree to enter into one or more settlement discussions with a trained, professional, neutral facilitator in order to resolve their dispute. Mediation is designed to allow the parties to maintain control of the decision-making process. The parties conduct their negotiations in a safe climate where all concerns, interests, ideas and information can be shared.
