16 Zion Street, Paarl, 7646 Western Cape, South Africa
The hotel was built in the 1700s and was named Pontac in 1723, by the first owner Pierre De Labuschagne, a native of the Bordeaux region in France. Pierre was a keen admirer of the courtly du Pontac family who governed the area at the time. The hotel still holds the original historic features in its architecture and furnishing, which all reflect on an era of gracious living. The hotel has a luxurious, yet homely atmosphere with first-class service and traditional style. Pontac Manor also provides genteel hospitality to create a classic guest house feel with a warm and welcoming ambiance.
