Douglas Wilton - CEO, President

Douglas is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of senior operational and general management experience with multiple successes in the development and management of new technical businesses in a variety of industrial environments. He assumed the role of President and CEO after leading the management buyout of TECTA-PDS from Veolia Water in 2016. With sales in over 50 countries, he guides the organization as it pursues its mandate of revolutionizing the microbiological monitoring of water. He joined the company as Vice President, Operations in 2005 as its second employee and played a key role in the success that led to its acquisition and subsequent re-branding as ENDETEC, Veolia Water's expert in water quality monitoring and Smart Water Networks. Prior to TECTA-PDS, he directed the creation of a multi-million dollar business and Greenfield manufacturing facility that provided inventory management, logistics and manufacturing services for a major Tier 1North American automotive supplier. This high-volume, automated business seamlessly integrated three customer facilities utilizing advanced e-business tools. Douglas is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO), Ontario Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE), and is the Co-chair of the Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA) Water Committee.

Dr. Stephen Brown

Dr. Brown received his BSc in Chemistry at Dalhousie University in Halifax and completed M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Bioanalytical Chemistry at the University of Toronto. After four years in Montreal in the National Research Council's Environmental Biotechnology group, he moved to Queen's University in 1996, where he is jointly appointed in the Department of Chemistry and the School of Environmental Studies. His research interests are related to water quality, ranging from chemical and microbiological contaminants to water policy, governance and sustainability. Collaborations with academic, industrial and government and community partners have addressed questions related to safety of drinking water systems as well as fate and toxicity of oil contamination in aquatic environments. His group invented new technology for monitoring E. coli and other bacteria in water, and in 2003, with colleagues he co-founded the Kingston, Ontario based company TECTA-PDS to commercialize the technology.

Tim Adams - CMO, EVP

Tim Adams, having lived and worked in multiple countries, has over 25 years of senior management experience leading sales and marketing teams worldwide in various markets including clean-tech, hi-tech, professional services, manufacturing, telco and software. He joined the company in 2012 as Vice President, Sales & Marketing to lead the worldwide sales effort for Veolia Water's innovation division, ENDETEC, which consisted of TECTAPDS and several other advanced monitoring businesses. Prior to joining TECTA-PDS, he founded Main International, a multinational organization that facilitated international expansion of companies into new markets. Clients included a variety of high profile brands in the automotive, telco and technology industries. Recognized by the Canadian government as a key partner, Main International was the only such organization to sit on the Canadian Federal Government's Board of TISA (Trade International Service Alliance). He is a member of the IOD (Institute of Directors) in London UK, CCBC (Chinese Canadian Business Council) and Toronto Chamber of Commerce. He holds a BA from Brock University as well as an International Certificate of Marketing from Harvard University.
