Kevin's focus has been the rebranding, launch and realignment of our Scottish offices into fully functioning Lanes regional bases, offering the breadth of services and standards of excellence that our customers expect. Significant improvements in delivery and structure of the operation have improved financial performance.
Kevin is responsible for operational and commercial decision-making across our Northern Region, which stretches from Birmingham in the West Midlands to the north of Scotland.
He leads teams that support the needs of all customers in that region, including water utilities - Severn Trent Water, Scottish Water, Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water - businesses and domestic households, who rely on Lanes specialist services every day and night.
Kevin has more than twelve years' experience in the wastewater and drainage industry.

Richard Leigh is our group development director here at Lanes, and has been with the business since 2011. During this time, he has played a key role in driving growth for us, drawing on his significant water and wastewater industry expertise.
Drawing on his technical, analytical, management and commercial skills, he has established clear objectives for structured expansion of the customer base, whilst also delivering an IT system to enable analysis of that base, via a CRM platform which is accessible throughout the organisation.
Over the course of a career spanning more than 20 years, Richard has built up a track record of success in sectors such as social housing, highways, rail, automotive and local authority framework bidding.
Since joining Lanes from MWH, he has helped us build a stable growth plan and overhaul our IT system to make us more responsive and more effective than ever before.
Richard boasts considerable expertise in how wastewater solutions are delivered for the food and hospitality industries, hospitals, the automotive industry and domestic properties.
His understanding of business and strategy development have made him an integral member of the Lanes leadership team.

Scott Norris - Chief Commercial Officer, Secretary

Scott is responsible for commercial and legal aspects of our business, including non-contentious contract negotiation, contractual and risk analysis, debt collection and contentious legal matters. He has worked closely with business development and finance teams to improve contractual understanding, operational performance and debt collection, resulting in our lowest debt levels ever.

Wayne joined Lanes in 1994. As Group Managing Director, he has overseen the development of innovative and award-winning services across many industrial and commercial sectors, including water utilities.
Under his leadership, Lanes being recognised, in 2018, as one of the most successful and fastest-growing mid-market private companies in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three years in a row.
Before becoming Group Managing Director, he was part of the senior management team responsible for sourcing new technology, plant and equipment.
Wayne is a keen champion of initiatives to broaden and deepen Lanes' community and social responsibility strategy, including raising money for nominated charities and strongly backing utility client campaigns against plastic waste and environmental pollution.
