Lyndsay Howarth is Managing Director and Senior Technical Consultant for 11th Hour Group Pty Ltd (11hrg) which was established in 2000.
Lyndsay is a trained and experienced teacher who also has extensive experience designing, coordinating and implementing IT training courses, setting up help-desks, building IP network and CD-based instructional and accreditation tools, building database and internet solutions for business functions while providing consultancies in commercial state-of-the-art environments.
Escaping Sydney's corporate jungle in 1996, Lyndsay balances her time between commercial, educational and environmentally friendly projects.
Lyndsay, who has been developing FileMaker solutions since the late '80s and the first version of FileMaker appeared on the Apple Mac, says that one day she will drive the 200km to Brisbane to do the latest version FileMaker Certification * test... but for the moment she is content with being the Go-To ‘Developer's-Developer' for PHP web interfaces to FileMaker databases.
A prolific developer, Lyndsay is in the process of making some of her 'pet' projects available to the general public. GeneTracker is one such project which started out being for sharing genealogy of her own family with her own family. These 'pets' may not be polished yet as their development has been unfunded but with time and public interest they will improve... stay tuned!
