Cyril McGuire

Cyril McGuire is a celebrated technology entrepreneur and investor. He joined the Corlytics' board in 2017. Cyril is one of Trintech Group PLC's co-founders, where he has been a director since 1987, as chairman of the board since August 1999. Mr. McGuire served as Chief Executive Officer of Trintech Group PLC from February 2002 to January 17, 2011. Before co-founding Trintech, Cyril worked with the Industrial Credit Corporation PLC, a leading Irish commercial bank, from 1982 to 1987, where his responsibilities included the appraisal of electronic industry investment projects. He received a bachelor of commerce and master of business studies from University College Dublin. Cyril is a member of the Board of Michael Smurfit, Graduate School of Business and a member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland. A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin Richard joined Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC in 1985 as a journalist. He moved to the conference division in 1987 where he ran a series of international capital market conferences. He became Director of the Conference Division in 1990. In 1996 he left Euromoney to start a digital financial media business with David Hawkins called InvestorAccess which was bought by Euromoney in 1999. In 2001 he and David bought out this business via an MBO and renamed it PEI Media Ltd [PEI]. Over the next 14 years Richard and David led the management team of PEI, launching a series of publishing brands, a specialist data division and growing a global conference operation all focused on the alternative asset classes of private equity, infrastructure, real estate and private debt.

Gerard Bermingham

Gerard is Head of Client Management at Corlytics. Based in the US, Gerard continues to develop Corlytics' presence in the North American region across all business lines. Gerard joins Corlytics with a proven track record of more than 20 years in management for financial technology companies. Most recently, Gerard was MD of North America for post-trade software with IHS MarkIt, and prior to this held various senior roles at IHS Markit and Information Mosaic.

Hazel Dowling

John Byrne - CEO, Founder

John Byrne is founder and CEO of Corlytics, responsible for setting the company's vision and strategy. He is a serial entrepreneur in the financial technology sector, John has built and sold a number of global technology based enterprises. He co-founded one of the first campus companies in Ireland in 1985 in the energy technology sector and built Information Mosaic in 1997, a global player in the securities software industry which was sold to Markit in 2015. He set up Corlytics to provide real regulatory risk intelligence. Following a tsunami of global regulation arrived for the financial markets in 2009, John realised there was no joined up intelligence and predictive analytics to help the banks, regulators and their advisors make informed decisions. Corlytics was formed in 2013 and today is the global leader in regulatory risk intelligence. John is a frequent speaker at industry events and has spoken at events such as SIBOS and NEMA. He has also spoken at many other conferences on operational and systemic risk and more recently at RegTech Summits in London and New York. He is also a board member of CeADAR, the Irish government's technology centre for applied research in AI, machine learning and data analytics. John is a graduate of Stanford Business School and has a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering.

Mike O'Keeffe

Mike O'Keeffe is general manager of Corlytics Solutions Limited, which serves the UK market. As general manager, Mike is responsible for leading operations in the UK and ensuring customer needs are met, from initial sales conversations right through to product delivery and on-going support. Mike works closely with customers to exceed expectations and ensure that they gain an immediate return on their investment through successful solution implementations. He has over 15 years in the development and delivery of advanced analytics solutions for the risk, compliance, fraud and security markets to major blue-chip organisations. Prior to working with Corlytics, Mike held roles as general manager of security product innovation at Telstra, as VP of product management and product marketing at Cognevo, and had senior product management and delivery roles at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and Norkom Technologies. Mike holds a degree in Industrial Biochemistry, and a graduate diploma in Technical Communications from the University of Limerick and an MBA from Dublin City University.

Niall Olden

Niall Olden has led multiple fundraising, mergers, acquisitions and trade sales of Irish technology companies in transactions across the US, Europe & Asia over the last 20 years. He established Kernel Capital in 1999 and under his direction the firm, with offices in Cork, Belfast and Dublin, has delivered funds with an average IRR of 20%+ per annum for each year from 2002 to 2015. He holds a wide range of fund portfolio directorships. Niall is a Chartered Management Accountant, holds a B. Comm from University College Cork National University of Ireland and an M.Sc. International Business from Trinity College Dublin where he completed a First Class Honours thesis ‘Kernel Capital and the Irish Venture Capital Market'. He currently is a member of the Cork Education & Training board, the Audit Committee of University College Cork National University of Ireland, the Advisory Board of the Telecommunications Software and Systems Group at the Waterford Institute of Technology, and is a Director of the Irish Venture Capital Association.

Peter Ledbetter

Peter Ledbetter acts as a board member for Corlytics and he also holds a seat on the board of The Irish Aviation Authority. Peter is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin and alumni of Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Having spent several years with Coopers & Lybrand, Peter joined GPA Group at its inception in 1975 where he was closely involved in the formation of the company's evolving strategy, as well as the execution of its policies from 1975 to 1990. He was an executive director of Irish Life and Permanent from 1991 to 2000.

Susie is Head of Legal Analysis at Corlytics. She leads a team of specialists in monitoring key legal and regulatory changes as well as enforcement actions. Her team provides clients with relevant, practical and consumable analysis of key developments which impact their activities. Susie is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. She trained and qualified at Herbert Smith Freehills, specialising in corporate law matters. She worked both as an associate and as a Professional Support Lawyer during her time at HSF. Susie also spent a period of time working in the Corporate Department of HSF's alliance firm in Germany, Gleiss Lutz.
