Alvin L. (Peck) Fox

Peck has a diverse practice, including governmental advocacy, administrative and regulatory law, and general civil litigation. He regularly represents clients in administrative hearings, contested cases and other matters before various departments and agencies of state and local governments. In addition, he is registered as a lobbyist with the Alabama Ethics Commission and represents the interests of clients before the Alabama Legislature. Peck also counsels clients on political, governmental and regulatory matters, including those involving state campaign laws and the Alabama State Ethics law. Additionally, he assists a number of clients in all types of civil litigation matters in Alabama's state and federal courts. Prior to entering private practice, Peck served for almost seven years as Chief of Staff to Alabama's Lt. Governor and State Senate President, after having served for more than four years on the staff of one of Alabama's United States Senators. He has also served as the chair and manager of numerous statewide political campaigns, and has served as an adviser to numerous elected officials. Peck's skills as a lawyer have been widely recognized. he has been named in The Best Lawyers in America since 2007, and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. In addition, in 2011-2012, he served as Chairman and President of State Law Resources, an international network of independent law firms with state capital practices.
