Ms. Hilvert joined the firm in February 2013 as a litigation associate and quickly evolved to a Senior Counsel. Since joining the firm, Ms. Hilvert has successfully settled several complex lawsuits and arbitrations and has been victorious in either bringing or defending numerous motions. For example, she successfully defended several demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, discovery motions, and an anti-SLAPP motion; she has also filed a successful motion(s) to compel additional documents, discovery responses, and depositions. Ms. Hilvert represents screenwriters, actors, producers, directors, musicians, production companies, and publishers, among others, in litigation and transactional matters. Ms. Hilvert received her B.A. in 2004 from the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated from Chapman University School of Law in 2008 with a certificate in Entertainment & Sports Law as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution.

I recently wrapped production on a small, independent feature film and would be remiss for overseeing Aleksandra's contribution. Despite the lack of funds available for an attorney to work on the production in it's entirety, Aleksandra could see beyond that and offered to do some transactional legal work, pro bono. To her credit, lack of compensation wasn't a factor, nor did it remove her motivation from the equation; she expeditiously gave her insight on the topics at hand, which - to me - indicates a passion and commitment to the work itself.

Fox); and settling cases which involved trademark infringement, unfair business practices and misappropriation of trade secret claims among many others. In July 2019, Mr. Lowe chaired and moderated a panel of comedians, lawyers, and entertainment industry guests, on behalf of CSEL, on "Comedy and the Law.", and in November 2021, Mr. Lowe chaired and moderated a panel for CSEL on "termination rights" in the entertainment industry.
Victoria (Tori) Mulvey was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and moved to Los Angeles in 2021 to pursue a career in entertainment law. She joined Lowe & Associates in May 2022, after graduating with a Master of Law (LL.M.) in Entertainment and New Media Law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She received her B.A. from the Honors College at the University of Mississippi in 2018, and graduated cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2021 with a certificate in Sports & Entertainment Law.
