In 2000 our Association's name changed to the Cyprus Association of Pharmaceutical Companies. We are a non-profit organisation operating under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). Today we have over 40 members active in the field of importation, promotion, marketing and distribution of branded and generic pharmaceutical products in Cyprus... We are a member of the Medicinal Product Pricing Committee. The Committee advises the Minister on issues concerning the prices of medicinal products in accordance with the Medicines for Human Use (Control of Quality, Supply and Pricing) Law 70 (I) / 2001... We are an affiliate member of the Cyprus Medicines Verification Organization (KOEF). KOEF's goal is to improve patient safety by preventing falsified (fake) medicines from entering the legal supply chain.
