In its capacity as the peak representative body for the commercial industry, the Australian Wild Game Industry Council (AWGIC) unites the diverse wild game industry, encompassing various species, including six approved species of kangaroo and wallaby, as well as feral goat, boar, deer, rabbit and hares, game birds, and Brushtail possums... Our mission includes advocating for evidence-based policies, strict regulation, and enforcement, and we continue to collaborate with various stakeholders for industry transparency while safeguarding biodiversity and promoting positive animal welfare outcomes.
