With a background of 15+ years in criminal and civil litigation, Irene prepares our license suspension appeal matters, some private AVO's and most of the court forms we have to prepare and file for our clients. As the firm's paralegal, Irene liaises with clients and legal professionals in preparation of criminal cases for both NSW Local and District Courts.
As the firm's Trust Account Manager, Irene also manages the day to day running of the Trust Account in accordance with NSW Law Society regulations.
The principal, Sally McPherson, is completing her Masters in Law (Criminal Practice) - a rare and relevant qualification in the field of local court work.
Sally McPherson is the principal lawyer at THE LOCAL COURT LAWYERS. Sally has been a lawyer in excess of 20 years, with many of these spent handling local court matters.
In addition to a law degree, Sally also holds a Masters Degree in Criminal Law - an LLM (Criminal Practice) - which is a unique and advanced qualification focusing on a deeper analysis of criminal law and in particular, the application of the evidence laws that apply to criminal offending.
Sally has operated the Local Court Lawyers for several years, and has appeared in a myriad of local court matters. Her academic qualifications, combined with her experience, and skills at the strategy of running local court matters (which is further clear from this short video) make the Local Court Lawyers unique.
