Alyce Parsons - Founder

Alyce has spent over 35 years managing retirement, independent, assisted living, and special needs/memory care communities. Her approach to care focuses on building our caregiving teams, enabling us to meet seniors' and their families' changing needs consistently. She is passionate about working with staff, families, and residents to achieve the best possible care outcomes consistent with a family's culture and the needs of their loved ones. Bob and Alyce have 4 children: Janelle, Blake, Gavin, and Cameron. All are members of our Board of Directors, and 3 are active participants in the company.

Angela David

Job Titles:
  • Assisted Living Assistant
Angela was born in Indiana and raised in the Northwest. Angela recently relocated to Houston with her family, including 5 daughters, one very understanding and patient husband, and their only son, a Pomeranian named Tucker. In her downtime, she loves to travel, read, and try new restaurants. Angela has been working with residents in home settings for the last 10 years before finding herself at the Parsons House Cypress.

Angelica Williamson

Angelica joined Parsons House Austin in 2010 after graduating from Texas State University, majoring in urban planning and social gerontology. As resident services director, she welcomes new residents into the flock and helps them get settled in successfully. Her passion is keeping her friends at Parsons House connected to the community by planning weekly outings and happenings to reflect what our residents like to do. Angelica is a native Austinite. On the weekends, she enjoys seeing plays, live music, and grabbing a bite at a new restaurant. You can often find her at the green belt with her three dogs-one of which was adopted from the Parsons House parking lot. She invites you to drop by anytime and join in on the fun.

Betty Hayner

Betty is a graduate of Belhaven University with a degree in business management. She comes to us with a background as an executive assistant doing accounting-related work for the past 12 years. Betty was looking for a career change when she found Parsons. She now gets to interact with the sweetest residents who visit her desk daily. She still uses her accounting skills, making sure the books are correct, and the staff gets paid. In her off time, she enjoys trying new things, antique shopping, and spending time with close family and friends, including her first new grand-baby.

Cameron Parsons - CEO

After graduating from the University of San Diego in 2011, Cameron returned to Santa Barbara to work on the vineyards and winery of Sine Qua Non, a Californian cult wine made by Manfred Krankl. Cameron started working at Parsons Group in 2014 at Parsons House Preston Hollow, located in Dallas, Texas, as the interim executive director, eventually being hired as the full-time director. After 4 years of repositioning the asset and developing the team's culture, the community stabilized, and Cameron moved to a regional operations role. Cameron's current role is working with the home office's accounting team on achieving their objectives, business development, and administration for the organization.

Chaitali Patel

Chaitali graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a special education degree and has always had a passion for teaching. Growing up, Chaitali loved her grandparents and was a very spoiled grandkid. That's one of the reasons she loves to serve seniors-she always enjoys helping people. Her parents are her inspiration. Chaitali has been with Parsons House since 2017. She feels blessed to work with such a great team. There is a learning experience every day at Parsons House, a new beginning every day, holding great significance, which contains boundless potential for new insights and greater vision.

Colleen Moody

Colleen brings to Parsons House La Porte a true calling to serve seniors and the dedication to teamwork it takes to provide the best care possible. It has been nearly 25 years since she began her career in long-term care. Over the years, Colleen has grown her expertise, leading to her promotion to executive director in 1998 and joining Parsons House in 2001. From her start in direct care to positions as activities director and assisted living business manager, each experience has fueled her passion for serving seniors. Colleen finds great satisfaction in making a difference in the lives of so many individuals, from helping Parsons House residents maximize their lives and sustain their independence to seeing her team of employees grow in their own lives. As a Texan, since moving from her native New York in 1979, Colleen understands how important it is for residents to enjoy the "Texas" lifestyle that Parsons House fulfills.

Dawn Razo

Dawn was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but has lived in Texas for most of her life. She spent her childhood in Arlington, Texas, which is still very dear to her heart. Dawn came to Parsons House La Porte in September of 2008. She started with the company as a caregiver, then worked in resident services, and is now the business office supervisor. Dawn has several years of schooling, including an Associate of Arts in healthcare administration. She enjoys spending time with her family and her kids, who are her absolute pride and joy.

Gavin Parsons

Gavin began his career with Parsons Group in 2018. He has brought experience in large- and small-scale food service enterprises, acting as head chef for high-end restaurants and one of the world's largest convention centers. After attending New York University, Gavin focused on the restaurant and hospitality industry, working in New York City, Santa Barbara, CA, and San Francisco. He is inspired to collaborate with our dining services teams to bring a top-of-class dining experience to our residents.

Jaime Suarez

Jaime has had a passion for cooking and traveling since he was a little kid. He was always at his grandmother's and mother's sides while they were in the kitchen, eagerly watching them cook. He took a backpacking trip through Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile, to learn about other cultures and cuisine. From there, he moved to New York City, where he worked in a commercial kitchen, starting at the bottom and working his way up the ladder, learning everything he could about the industry. Over the years, Jaime has traveled to Spain, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Mexico, Puerto Rico, England, and Israel. He brought his knowledge of culture and cuisine with him when he settled in La Porte, Texas, to open his own restaurant with a diverse international menu. Jaime has 2 small beautiful children that are his life. Today, it is Jaime's satisfaction and goal to give Parsons House residents a pleasant, tasteful dining experience.

Janelle Parsons - COO

Janelle started working for Parsons Group in 2003. She brought with her experience in sales and marketing in the restaurant industry. She has served as executive director and marketing director, regional director, and current role as chief of operations for Parsons Group Communities. Her on-site experience helps influence her regional management work in assessing challenges, prioritizing work, and creating aggressive business plans while producing financially successful communities. Janelle also uses these skills to assess and determine the strength of new acquisitions. She is constantly inspired by the work that the teams on-site do and the amazing families and residents who choose to live at Parsons Group communities. Janelle truly enjoys serving residents, families, and team members.

Jasmine Blinks

  • Memory Care Program Supervisor
Jasmine joined Parsons House in the Summer of 2019 as our memory care program supervisor. Jasmine graduated from Grambling State University in December 2012 and moved to Dallas in 2013. Growing up, both of Jasmine's grandparents were diagnosed with dementia, and both passed due to complications of the disease in the early 2000s. Jasmine has a passion for learning more about dementia and working in the field, contributing to the cause and helping to educate people about it. In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her 1-year old daughter, her partner, and her family. Jasmine also loves to cook, and her favorite hobby is reading. Jasmine feels grateful to continue enriching the lives of seniors and bringing them joy every day.

Jose Amaya

Jose has been with Parsons House Preston Hollow since 2014. Before joining our team, he was the maintenance director at John Paul II High School for 10 years. Jose helps to keep our community safe every day. Jose is a master chicken tender and sees to their every need, his saying being, "Happy chickens, happy life." If you see him around, be sure to say hello!

Kaitlyn Parker

Kaitlyn is a true born and bred Texas girl born in Baytown. She attended Robert E. Lee High School and Stephen F. Austin University. Kaitlyn is married with 2 sons, Foster and Nolan, and has made her home in League City, TX. Kaitlyn has worked in many areas of assisted living since 2008, including dietary, care, and med-tech. Kaitlyn was promoted to assisted living director in 2018. Kaitlyn strives every day to ensure the highest quality of care is given to our residents and their families. Kaitlyn leads her care team with excitement and great attention to detail, ensuring that respect, dignity, and quality of care are the team's focus. Kaitlyn spends her time away from Parsons House, concentrating on her family. Her hobbies include crafting, camping, and sports.

KaTrece Lee

Prior to moving to Texas at the end of 2018 from Mansfield, Ohio, KaTrece worked at a national non-profit organization that provided low-income individuals and families with all their basic needs. She was a supervisor of the social services department for 6 years after being an office assistant for 1 year. She enjoys working with children and seniors.

Kenneth Porter

Kenneth has been with Parsons House for over 5 years. He was born in Beaumont, Texas. Kenneth inherited his grandfather's carpentry skills and general maintenance abilities. He began his career in maintenance in 1996 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Dayton, Texas. After 3 more nursing homes and one assisted living community, Kenneth found Parsons House. Every day he helps to keep our community safe and functioning.

Kevin Aderholt

Kevin joined Parsons House Austin after spending time as the head of maintenance at a skilled nursing facility. Before that, he served the Austin area as an EMT for 9 years, and continues to volunteer with them. Our residents love how devoted he is to keeping our building in tip-top shape. It is obvious that Kevin came from the small town of Wylie, Texas, because of the personal and respectful way he treats each resident. In his free time, you can find Kevin enjoying the Texas sunshine by fishing, hunting, tubing, and kayaking.

Lacey Trice - CMO

After receiving her bachelor's in psychology from North Carolina State University, Lacey moved to Texas. She accepted her first job in the senior living space 13 years ago. She loves helping families through their journey to find the right care for their loved ones, something she now sees as a calling. She feels incredibly blessed to help so many families find peace of mind knowing their loved one is getting the care they deserve and also meeting new friends all along the way. She lives in Magnolia with her husband Jason and young daughter Lila, their adorable Goldendoodle (Ollie), and 6 chickens. She loves reading, meditation, antiques, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Lori Griffo

Lori Griffo serves as the executive director at Parsons House Preston Hollow and is responsible for day-to-day operations. With over 20 years of experience in operations and marketing, Lori provides our community with a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and genuine love and compassion for the generation we serve. "It is an honor and a privilege to care for those who have cared for us. The opportunity to spend time with our elders is a gift and always brings me joy," says Lori. She is a native Texan and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, music, and theater. She also loves to curl up with a good book. Lori says spending quality time with family is her favorite pastime.

Madelyne Dunne

Our assisted living assistant is Madelyne Dume. Madelyne is from Haiti and has lived in the United States for 20 years. She is fluent in French, Creole, and English. Madelyne has been a member of the Parsons House Cypress family for 6 years. Beginning as a care manager, she moved to med-tech and is now an assisted living assistant. Madelyne loves working with the residents and cares for them like family.

Mandi Kelso

Mandi joined Parsons House Cypress in the summer of 2018 as care coordinator and was recently promoted to executive director. She and her family recently relocated to the Houston area from Boise, Idaho. Mandi is married with 2 children and a menagerie of pets that include a pig, 2 cats, a hedgehog, and a parrot named Goose. Mandi is a dedicated and focused patient care advocate who continuously strives to improve and find new ways to manage our resident's care. She is committed to our resident's quality of life and personal growth.

Mario Lopez

Mario joined Parsons House Preston Hollow in 2012. Mario has over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He has served as head chef at Nordstrom Cafe and sous chef at the acclaimed Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus.

Mary Catherine McDougall

Mary Catherine, born and raised in Savannah, GA, joined the Parsons Group team in November 2018. After graduating with a degree in accounting from the University of Alabama in 2008, she began her accounting career in the oil, gas, and chemical industry. While in her first role as an accountant, she began to pursue her Masters of Accountancy at Georgia Southern University, which she completed by the spring of 2010. Since then, Mary Catherine's development in her field led to roles outside of the southeast, and most recently, in Santa Barbara. She was instantly attracted to the work at Parsons Group, as she and her family cared for her beloved grandfather for 20+ years until the age of 101. Mary Catherine and her husband Michael have a passion for college football, live music, travel, cooking, and visiting family and friends in their home state of Georgia.

Melody Light

Melody Light comes to us from the great state of Arizona. Melody has worked as a certified personal trainer for more than 24 years. Initially starting in bodybuilding and postpartum workouts for women, she transitioned into senior fitness, where she found her niche and has been training seniors for the last 7 years. In 2012, Melody obtained a specialized senior certification through the National Association of Sports Medicine to further her knowledge and better assess the health needs of older adults to achieve a safe, solid workout. Melody also specializes in balance and fall prevention classes to help address the issues that come with aging. Melody is a married mother of 3 sons and thoroughly enjoys working with seniors and making them happy in a fun and safe environment.

Monica Reveles

Monica began her career in the senior living industry in 2001. She has extensive experience in operations, marketing and human resources and joined Parsons Group in 2010. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in ethnic studies and public policy, she keeps closely connected to the Austin community through non-profit boards and other volunteer leadership roles. She is a founding member of the Austin Steering Committee for Dementia and Aging Issues. Monica enjoys spending time with her husband Sam and young son Sammy. Together they travel, cook, laugh at one another's terrible jokes, make music, explore the great outdoors, go to the theater, and read.

Nicole Harpt

Nicole joined Parsons House in August of 2020. She has 12 years of experience working in a retirement community in Madison, Wisconsin. In her experience, she planned life-enriching activities for residents and became a transportation supervisor. She also has a bachelor's degree in management from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She loves connecting with residents and is eager to be a part of the community. For fun, she likes to camp, run, cook, and go to wineries.

Rebecca Amrhine

Rebecca Amrhine, CDP, was born in Victoria, Texas, on "Parsons" Road. After Victoria High School, she furthered her education at Victoria College, Citizens Medical Center, then Columbia College. Since 2002, she has lived the military life with her husband and 2 daughters, McKayla and Jorden, while working in the medical community. She's grown from business office duties to marketing and community relations with a passion for serving seniors and being a resource to healthcare professionals. With a strong family history of dementia, she furthered her education with the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners in 2017 to help families and seniors in need of support. After living in the country on Parsons Road, she is forever grateful to be serving Parsons House La Porte as it feels like home.

Rebecca Seamon

Rebecca was born and raised in the little town of Gold Hill, NC. As a kid, she loved to help in the garden and help with the cows. Rebecca has 5 children and is an animal lover who has adopted 2 dogs. One is a greyhound, and the other is a mixed breed pup. She loves to read everything but romance novels. She also enjoys jigsaw puzzles. Rebecca is a genuine people person who has been working with seniors for over 10 years, and she loves every bit of it.

Rhonda Prince - CMO

Rhonda Prince joined Parsons House in the Summer of 2018 as our on-site marketing director. Rhonda is originally from South Texas. She has worked in the senior living industry for nearly thirty years and understands the industry from the lens of many different job roles. Rhonda truly enjoys being an advocate and a resource to seniors and their families. When she is away from Parsons House, you can find Rhonda outside doing yard work, swimming, or playing with her 4-legged kids.

Robert Parsons - Founder, President

Sarah Irwin

Sarah joined Parsons House Austin after spending 4 years as the executive director of a memory care community. She graduated from the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University with her bachelor's and master's degree in social work with a minor in gerontology. Her passion for serving seniors and their families started at a young age and has only continued to grow. Sarah takes on challenges with patience and grace. Her welcoming personality makes you feel as if you have known her your whole life. When she took her first steps into Parsons House Austin, she knew this was where she was meant to be.

Shannon Phillips

Shannon Phillips is a busy bee in every aspect of the word. Since joining Parsons House Cypress in July of 2017, she has worked as a dietary aide, caregiver, housekeeper, and maintenance director. Shannon is full of energy and has a "let's get it done" positive attitude. She is always willing to help others and is the first to go far and beyond for our residents. In her off time, she enjoys relaxing, watching movies, and playing sports.

Suzy Ruiz

Suzy has been with Parsons House Preston Hollow for over 6 years. She started working on the weekends at the front desk. Since then, she has worked in almost every department! Suzy was promoted to resident services director in 2015. She enjoys caring for, teaching, and interacting with residents every day. Her favorite part of her job is the loving and close relationships she has built with many wonderful residents and their families. Suzy has been married for 27 years, has 3 sons, and 2 grandchildren.

Teffanie Price

Teffanie joined Parsons House Austin in 2008 as a member of our care staff. Throughout her time at Parsons House Austin, she has taken on many roles and excelled at each one. With her vast knowledge of our community and her master's degree in healthcare administration, Teffanie provides skill and dedicated service to our residents and their families.

Terrel Holloman

Born and raised an Austinite, Terrel found a love and passion for cooking and food at a very early age. Under the watchful eye of his grandmother, he learned the flavors and techniques of southern cuisine. He learned dedication along with drive and work ethic from his father, who is also a professional chef. Terrel began his professional career in 2005 at the Texas State Capitol. Fast forward 15 years, and there have been many stops along his journey at some of Austin's finest hotels and restaurants. He honed his culinary skills working with and learning from many great chefs in the city, most notably Chef Mark Dyanandon (Driskill Hotel), Chef Joe Pryor (Trulucks, CDO) Chef Johnny Livesay (Salt & Thyme), and Chef Duane Nunn (Shoreline Grill). Terrel enjoys spending time with his three daughters and going to basketball practices and games, and choir concerts. Just being a dad is a joy for him. When he's not working, he likes to spend his time cooking for-and with-his family and friends.
