Bruce Thomson - CEO

Bruce Thomson is a consultant with many years of experience providing training and development to a large number of clients in New Zealand and Australia. Areas of expertise include Sales and Customer Service, Team Development and Leadership Programs. He has also worked in Canada in the area of Negotiation Skills, Bougainville and East Timor in Leadership Development. A specialty of his is Outdoor Experiential learning. Using these unique skills in this effective method of learning, Bruce has received accolades for his results from many well known companies in New Zealand and Australia. Bruce has also gained depth in his business experience in selling and sales management, especially in the area of Financial Services. He is an Accredited Master Trainer for the DISC Personal Behavioral Profile System®. He is also certified to administer sales development and behavioral modification diagnostics. Educated at three Universities, Bruce has a degree in Vocational Education and Training, from Charles Sturt University and a Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University including papers in Organisational Development, Managerial Development and a special topic in Training and Development. Allied to this are a few papers in Psychology. He also has a Graduate Diploma for Adult and Tertiary Teaching from Auckland University of Technology. He is also a Skydiving Instructor and holds a Pilot License

Dr Maria Thomson

Maria loves what she does. Her focus with Fortuna International Ltd is in advising with the testing of products, advising on strategy and providing resources and expertise to fit all clients requirements. She is a Wiley trained DISC Master Trainer. She has an impressive work portfolio spanning over ten years experience in the creation and delivery of HR initiatives. Having led a number of key projects, particularly related to the improvement of recruitment and development, she has some great examples of how these initiatives have aligned with wider organisational goals and yielded positive feedback and significant return on investment for her clients. As a specialist in talent analysis and psychometric testing she is also an experienced career, leadership and executive coach. In addition to a successful consulting career, Maria has a PhD in (Industrial Organisational) Psychology including a Double Major Graduate Degree in Management and Employment Relations and Psychology with 1st Class Honours. She has lectured courses in Organisational Psychology and Recruitment and Development with the University of Auckland and in Management and Organisational Behaviour with Auckland's University of Technology. As a sought after public speaker and facilitator she is known for her workshop planning and delivery. With a fresh, creative approach to problem solving and strategic thinking she aspires to offer the highest quality service to her clients and colleagues alike.

She comes from a background in administration, specialising in office management, implementing procedures and staff management. Michelle Dalley

Michelle is passionate about equipping leaders and teams with practical skills and frameworks to lift performance, engagement and wellbeing. She's been a professional leadership coach and trainer for over 12 years, working with clients across a wide range of sectors. In Michelle's earlier career she was an Operations Manager, National Project Manager and Business Improvement Manager/specialist. Her own experience, combined with that of her clients informs her understanding of the challenges of leadership, building high performing cultures and navigating through change. She draws on this knowledge, along with proven research, to provide practical solutions to clients. Michelle also loves to develop herself and say current with new approaches that support her clients. Steven describes himself as; "somebody who relentlessly seeks new challenges and enjoys the practical application of wisdom" He is an experienced business consultant and project manager that came to New Zealand four years ago fast growing a reputation as a great facilitator and helping organisations improve their performance by using lean techniques. Initially educated at Loughborough University in the UK, he has worked at Fonterra, leading their programme for accelerating Operational Excellence. Prior to that he worked as a management consultant in the UK for one of the 1st tier management consultants for over 6 years. He has advised a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sector and his experience covers everything from Defence to the food industry. His New Zealand clients have included Watercare, NZDF, Vodafone, Transit, Auckland City Council, Queenstown Lakes District Council, Waitemata DHB and Counties Manukau DHB. His areas of interest include project management, continuous improvement and change management. Steven is a PRINCE2 practitioner and also a UK Chartered Engineer. He has won prizes from Rolls Royce and Ford for his academic achievements but values his corporate credentials more. He helped the UK Ministry of Defence carry out numerous performance improvement projects using lean techniques for both Tornado and Harrier and helped set up one of the largest improvement programmes in the UK following the Gershon review. He received an innovation award for his work for the UK Revenue and Customs office (HMRC) and has worked with some of the world's largest multi nationals to set up their compliance programmes for Sarbannes Oxley. Steven is an experienced faciltator and has facilitated NZIM Programmes over two years. He has advised companies on organisation design, change management, risk management, procurement and performance improvement.
