NuVista is locally owned, by you! Everyone who deposits their opening membership share in the amount of $25 in an account is part owner of the credit union. What does that mean? You have a say in the products and services that we offer and your personal needs are addressed right here locally in your very own community by people who live here too!... NuVista Federal Credit Union which was originally Montrose Federal Credit Union was established in 1964. It was built on honesty, integrity and self worth. We hold that same foundation today. When first opened the credit union was for federal employees only. Times have changed and we know now that the support of the community as a whole is what helps us to thrive. We changed our name on January 1, 2008 to reflect our growth in membership, and our coverage area that is not limited to just Montrose.
