Prior to Plants Creative, Chris was working as a landscape designer at another company. But before switching careers to landscape design, he got his start, fresh out of art school, as a graphic designer. While he enjoyed his previous career in graphic design, ultimately his passion and where he was most happy, was in designing beautiful and functional outdoor spaces.
When he is not helping to create beautiful landscape designs, he is an avid hiker! He has section hiked lengths of the Appalachian Trail and someday would love to complete a thru-hike. He is an outdoor enthusiast, so hiking anywhere or engaging in any outdoor activity is usually when he is happiest. He also enjoys camping, social sports which might include wiffleball, nerf football or frisbee, and exploring Atlanta.
Meet Eric Barnes, our Irrigation Manager! Eric comes to us with many years of experience in the irrigation business, from installation to care and repair, he's done it all! He even worked with his father for several years at his landscaping business.
When Eric isn't busy being our resident irrigation guru, he loves playing drums, listening to music, and spending quality time with his wife!

Prior to joining the Plants team in 2015, I worked for more than 8 years in customer service and administrative fields. I am an Atlanta native who graduated from Georgia State University with a Women's Studies degree.
When I'm not talking to customers or creating new ways to help the office run more efficiently, I am hanging out with my wife and our big dog, Padge. I also enjoy making music, drinking good beer, and being in the great outdoors!

Isidro has been with Plants Creative since 2008! Of all our foreman, Isidro has been with Plants the longest. Almost all of his landscape knowledge has come from what he has learned working here as a crew member and foreman. He likes that his job allows him to do a little bit of everything.
When he isn't at work, Isidro enjoys taking time to be with his family!

Melissa joined our team with many years of experience in the landscape industry all over the country, including Colorado, Florida, and right here in Atlanta. She has an amazing eye for helping customer find ways to enhance their existing landscapes and is a self-proclaimed plant geek!
In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, working in her own garden, and riding her horse, Lola.

Mitzi is an experienced customer service professional with a strong background in sales & marketing, research, and experience & engagement. She graduated from Sweet Briar College with a BA in Art History. When she's not working hard at Plants Creative, she enjoys listening to podcasts while quilting and road trips. She is also an appreciator of all things plants and gardens.
Plants Creative is proud to support Earthshare Georgia -a one-stop shop for environmental giving-Mitzi's Charities for Birthdays choice, by making an annual donation on her behalf. EarthShare Georgia raises money for their trusted nonprofit organizations dedicated to conserving and protecting our air, land and water.
Pam, who grew up as an athlete and plant lover, earned the nickname "Plants" from her teammates during her collegiate volleyball years. She began working in the green industry at the age of 13, spending Indiana summers working in cornfields before joining her grandfather at the local nursery/garden center, where she remained throughout her high school years. After moving to South Carolina for college, Pam's passion for the green industry continued, allowing her to work for a summer at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics before settling into a nursery management position for seven years in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2003, she left South Carolina to begin an account management position for a commercial landscape company in Atlanta. In 2005, she decided to go back to school, working on her horticulture degree at the University of Georgia, and at the same time, Plants Creative Landscapes was born.
Pam loves being a business owner and entrepreneur. Her passion is connecting people who believe nature is where we go in pursuit of lasting memories and strengthening relationships. Her team is united in the purpose of creating and caring for beautiful outdoor spaces that are reflections of those who live and play in them. In 2021, Pam expanded Plants Creative into the North Georgia mountains, opening a 2nd location in Blue Ridge, GA, where she also lives full time.
In addition to growing Plants Creative, Pam enjoys spending time in service to both state and national green industry associations. She is on the board of directors for The National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) as well as Georgia's Urban Ag Council (UAC), committed to promoting and advancing green industry professionalism. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, summers spent on the lake, and falls gathered around warm fires with family and friends.
Plants Creative is proud to support Chap's Chow Rescue, Pam's Charities for Birthdays choice, by making an annual donation on her behalf. They are a small but dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about saving chow chows. Pam and her partner have been loved by three dogs who have been rescued by Mike and his team.
