Al Rescorl

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Al Rescorl is a Project Manager; he is responsible for overall site management of assigned projects including planning, schedules, budget, safety, subcontractors, venders, union contacts and mentoring new supervisors and junior project managers. Al has over 30 years of experience in the field and in building construction. Prior to joining Sessler, Al worked for multiple environmental and construction companies in various roles. He currently resides on Cayuga Lake with his wife. When not working, Al enjoys traveling and spending time on the lake with his family and grandchildren.

Brian Sessler

Job Titles:
  • Managing Member
Brian Sessler is a Managing Member at Sessler Environmental Services (SES) and is responsible for the complete oversight of all aspects of the company as well as the strategic direction of the business. Brian is also part of the family management team of all Sessler companies. Brian has been employed with the family business full time for over 20 years. He started working in the field as a Laborer, then became an Operator before assuming a role as a jobsite Superintendent. The years of practical "on the job learning" has helped Brian excel in his current position as a leader with a wide range of skills both in the office and on the job site. Brian studied at Wyoming Technical Institute and received a degree in Mechanics for Engines & Hydraulic Systems. He reside on Seneca Lake in Geneva, NY with his wife, Megan and their two children, Zachary and Leah. When not working, Brian enjoys spending time with family and friends with activities such as boating, camping, hunting, and fishing. He actively participates in many volunteer roles in his community as well as coaching some of his children's sports teams.

Chelsea Connor

Job Titles:
  • Office Administrator
Chelsea Connor is the Office Administrator; she is responsible for tracking all field workers' certifications, scheduling their physicals and trainings, coordinating hotel accommodations, compiling and delivering project closeout documentation, and supporting Accounts Payable. Chelsea received her Bachelor's degree in Communications with a Minor in Spanish. Chelsea has over eight years of experience in Marketing, and five years in Financial Services. Before joining Sessler in April of 2022, Chelsea worked for a financial planning firm where she was responsible for preparing and processing paperwork to open investment accounts for clients, scheduling meetings with advisors and handling client requests. When not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, and cross-stitching.

Dave Ogletree

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Manager
Dave Ogletree is a Senior Project Manager; he is responsible for the entire project from estimating to completion. This includes attending pre-bid meetings to sourcing and managing subcontractors, selecting materials and equipment, preparing work plans, safety plans, project schedules, change orders, and cost tracking. Dave has over 18 years of industry experience, specializing in asbestos abatement and demolition. Prior to joining SES, he worked for various environmental companies located in New York and Pennsylvania. When not working, Dave enjoys camping, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.

Eric Hoban

Job Titles:
  • Lead Estimator and Senior Project Manager
Eric Hoban is a Lead Estimator and Senior Project Manager for environmental remediation projects. He manages abatement and demolition projects as well. Eric has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Prior to starting at SES in 2017, he held several positions, starting his career as a field technician in Boston, working on the Central Artery Tunnel Project (Big Dig), then as a project manager, and has worked as a consultant, estimator and branch manager. Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Planning from Westfield State College of Westfield, Massachusetts. When not working, Eric likes to spend time outdoors snowboarding, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three kids.

Frank Thomas

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Frank Thomas is a Project Manager; he is responsible for all associated aspects of the environmental investigation and remediation projects including planning, scheduling, budget analysis, safety, managing subcontractors and vendors, and customer relations. Frank has over 30 years of experience in the environmental services and consulting. Prior to joining SES in 2023, Frank worked for multiple environmental companies in various roles. Frank received his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He currently resides in Marion, NY with his wife. When not working, Frank enjoys fishing, golfing, and hunting.

Geoffrey Smith

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Geoffrey Smith is a Project Manager; he is responsible for overall site management including planning, scheduling, budget analysis, safety, and managing subcontractors and vendors. Geoff has over 20 years of experience in the environmental construction industry. He started as an operations technician and later moved into project management. Prior to joining SES in 2019, he worked for various environmental companies throughout Rochester. Geoff resides in Pittsford, NY with his girlfriend, his two boys and her three boys, his dog Bailey, and cat Luna. When he is not working, he enjoys concerts, traveling, hiking, kayaking, and hanging out with friends.

Josh Scott

Job Titles:
  • Assistant Project Manager
Josh Scott is an Assistant Project Manager; he is responsible for developing and generating project submittals, coordinating, organizing, tracking, and updating the flow project related information to senior staff, developing change orders, reviewing project documentation, and preparing job books. Josh has over ten years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining SES in 2023, Josh worked for multiple construction companies in various roles, including Project Manager. Josh earned his associate's degree in Business from SUNY Oswego. He currently resides in Webster, NY with his fiancée and two children. When not working, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, going to a Buffalo Bills game, and weekend getaways to the Finger Lakes.

Justin Marullo

Job Titles:
  • Staff Accountant
Justin Marullo is a Staff Accountant; with responsibilities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly reconciliations, financial monitoring, and forecasting. Before joining Sessler Companies in 2021, he was a tax accountant, assisting with data entry for client information. Justin received his bachelor's degree in corporate finance and his MBA from St. John Fisher College. He resides in Auburn, NY, with his dog, Lily, and enjoys fitness, hiking, spending time with friends and family and watching football. Justin is also a member of the Boy Scouts with the rank of Eagle Scout.

Laura Schreib

Laura Schreib is the Office Manager; she is responsible for human resources, payroll, accounts payable, insurance, bonding, and overall office management. Additionally, she assists with the administration of company benefits for all employees. Prior to joining the SES team in 2021, she worked for over 20 years at her family-owned company. She brings years of experience in administration, operations, office management, and human resources. She completed her Executive MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2011. When not working, she enjoys traveling, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Matthew Norsen

Matthew Norsen is the Safety and Compliance Manager; responsible for driving the safety culture at Sessler Environmental Services and executing all appropriate measures to ensure that the health and safety of the company's employees are protected. He promotes a safe work environment and ensures that the company site-specific health and safety plan is being implemented. Matt provides employees with current training opportunities in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and all corporate and division policies and procedures. Matt is a combat veteran; having served in the Army and Army Reserves for 25 years and comes to Sessler Environmental Services with many years of general and construction industry experience.

Mitch Patrowicz

  • Associate Safety & Compliance Manager
Mitch Patrowicz is an Associate Safety & Compliance Manager; he is responsible in assisting in driving the safety culture at Sessler Environmental Services, as well as executing all appropriate measures to ensure that the health and safety of the company's employees are protected. He helps promote a safe work environment and ensures that the company's site-specific health and safety plans are being implemented. Mitch received his Master's degree in Sustainable Systems from the Rochester Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Biomaterials from Virginia Tech. Before joining Sessler in 2022, Mitch worked for an industrial and aerospace manufacturer where he was responsible for updating and maintaining training materials and records across the U.S. and internationally. He currently resides in Canandaigua, NY. When not working, Mitch enjoys going on hikes with his dog, as well as spending time with his family.

Mitch Phillips

Mitch Phillips is the General Manager, and is responsible for overall office and field operations. He has over 20 years of industry experience in the environmental services industry. Prior to joining SES in 2017, he worked as a Regional Manager for a large international environmental company. Mitch studied at the University of Sunshine Coast in Australia, then graduated from The State University of New York College at Cortland with a bachelor's degree. When not working, Mitch enjoys traveling, being outdoors hunting and fishing, and spending time with his wife, daughters, and pets.

Roman Iwaskiw

Roman Iwaskiw is the Operations Manager; responsible for overseeing project planning, regulatory compliance, resource and budget management, client communication, health and safety management, and team management.

Rostam Bahadori

Job Titles:
  • Assistant Project Manager
Rostam Bahadori is an Assistant Project Manager; he is responsible for developing and generating project submittals, coordinating, organizing, tracking, and updating the flow project related information to senior staff, developing change orders, reviewing project documentation, and preparing job books. Rostam has over fiver years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining SES in 2023, Rostam worked for a construction company in a variety of roles. Rostam earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Lovely Professional University and his master's degree in Construction Management and an advanced certificate in Project Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He currently resides in East Rochester, NY with his wife and daughter. When not working, Rostam enjoys playing video games, watching movies, camping, hiking, and fishing.

Tom Bertino

Tom Bertino is a Project Manager; he is responsible for all associated aspects of projects including planning, scheduling, budget analysis, safety, customer relations, and performing the projects on-site. He is also in charge of the implementation of the Trimble GPS guided equipment. Prior to joining Sessler in 2018, Tom worked for his family's hardscaping business for several years. Tom received his bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology. He currently resides in Irondequoit, NY. When not working, Tom enjoys being outdoors, bow hunting, and fishing.

Zack Blain

Job Titles:

  • Site Superintendent
Zack Blain is a Site Superintendent; he is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the project, which includes schedule compliance, staffing assignments, work sequencing, project execution, subcontractor and vendor coordination, and overall project safety. Additionally, he plays a vital role as an Interior Demolition Specialist within our team. Zack received his degree in Environmental Science at Rochester Institute of Technology Before joining Sessler in 2022, Zack worked for an installation company in Rochester where he was responsible for managing interior architectural system projects for various customers across the U.S. and Internationally. He currently resides in Honeoye, NY with his wife and two dogs. When not working, he enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, and traveling. Zack is also involved in Honeoye Lake Ducks Unlimited.
