Alex Gittins

With over nine years' recruitment experience, Alex joined TPP to support the HR team in recruiting HR professionals on a temporary, fixed term and permanent basis. Alex has a wealth of experience recruiting into the non-profit and public sectors where he worked for a specialist public sector recruitment company managing a large team. Alex has been able to build excellent relationships within his market due to his ability to understand both the clients and candidates' needs. Alex also represents TPP at the quarterly Charity HR Network group webinars, where he shares market updates and recruitment expertise to the sector. Outside of work, Alex is a keen sportsman along with a passion for music and travel.

Bita Heffernan

Diane Duberry

Diane has worked within the recruitment industry for over 25 years up to senior management level and has recruited staff into the private, public and third sectors. Diane's role is to help develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring they are receiving the best possible service and value for money and getting the most out of their relationship with TPP. She is also responsible for obtaining new business opportunities within our core divisions.

Donna Newton

Donna joined TPP in 2011 as Head of Client Relations, with over 20 years' recruitment experience within the not- profit, public and private sector, dealing with permanent, temporary and contract roles as a Consultant and manager, before moving into her current role. Donna acts as an impartial point of contact within TPP to help clients get the most out of their relationships with TPP. Working across all teams, Donna is responsible for ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and value for money. Donna has a passion for diversity and inclusion and enjoys working with clients to ensure they are supported and advised on their diversity and inclusion agenda, which often includes recruitment practices and processes. Donna is an active member of Inclusive Employers and has completed numerous webinars, seminars and workshops including unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, disability in recruitment and neurodiversity. A quote that resonates deeply with Donna is "Do the best you can, until you know better, then when you know better, do better". Donna passed her CMI Level 6 qualification Leading Equality and Diversity and Managing Organisational Culture in 2021. Donna has enjoyed volunteering for the East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance service and has truly loved her time helping out with the baby bird season, including hand rearing owls, a kingfisher, swifts and swallows before moving on to help out with baby hedgehog season. Donna has three dogs Dora, Darcy and Tyson and lives East Sussex where most weekends are spent exploring the countryside with the dogs and indulging her husband's love of BMX bikes, which involve trips along the coast. Donna also enjoys teaching herself knitting and most of the senior management team have been spoilt with handmade socks for Christmas! Donna is a regular supporter of Canine Concern, Dogs Trust, RSPCA, Cats Protection, Guide Dogs and Great Bulls of China.

Emma Patmore

Gemma Hannington

Gemma was promoted into a management role in 2008, managing a team of 5 consultants. Gemma enjoyed the mix of hands on recruitment and supporting Consultants to be the best they can be. Joining TPP in 2018 as a Business Manager within the Office and specialist support team, Gemma works on permanent and contract recruitment. In Gemma's spare time, she is kept busy by her 8 year old son.

Jayne Morris - CEO

After running her family business and then moving into retail management Karen decided to redirect her career after taking advice from a career coach which started her journey in recruitment. Nothing makes her happier than implementing her passion for great customer service, and recruitment allows her to do this by supporting candidates and clients into a fulfilling long-term working relationship. Karen's favourite pastime is traveling to sunnier climes having visited over 25 different countries blended with her enjoyment of reading and spending time outdoors in nature.

Lewina Farrell

Lewina graduated from European Studies (with Spanish) at the University of Limerick (via Barcelona as an Erasmus student) after which she then completed a Masters in International Relations before moving to the UK in 1996. She studied part-time at law school before training and qualifying as a solicitor in Aug 2004. Lewina was Head of Legal Services at the REC for 10 years before setting up RecruiterLaw in March 2021 and now also works part-time as Legal Manager at TPP. In her spare time Lewina co-runs and is Club Welfare Officer at a community football club in south east London (which now has 200 children). She also does a lot of craft including papercraft, knitting and sewing (and watching foreign language programmes on Netflix on the pretext that she's learning something and not just watching TV!).

Lisa Ross

She then moved into recruitment as a specialist head-hunter for art directors and writers before joining a boutique recruitment consultancy recruiting for their marketing and corporate divisions working with financial services, professional services, advertising and design agencies, charities, professional associations, tech and publishing companies across all levels of seniority and roles. Within the Leadership & Governance Team at TPP Lisa works with a variety of charities, membership bodies and non-profit organisations to help source senior Board hires such as CEOs, Executives, Non-Executives and Trustees.

Matt Adams

Having graduated from Loughborough University with a very interesting, but ultimately not overly relevant Geography Degree (oxbow lakes?!), Matt spent 4 years working in the Government's Faststream graduate programme, before making the move to recruitment in 2006. Matt has since recruited to a wide range of roles across both the public and non-profit sectors. He joined TPP in 2013 and now heads up both the Leadership and Governance and Fundraising teams. He is very much involved in day-to-day recruitment and in recent years has led on successful searches to CEO, Board-level (Trustee, Chair and NED) and Director-level Fundraising positions. Matt and his family live in sunny South Essex, and in his spare time Matt is both a Trustee of a local Community charity and an Assistant Coach for an aspirational U6 boys football team with eyes on a trip to Wembley (at some stage).

Nicky Sinclair

Nicky grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa, and from the age of 18, she went on to travel, volunteering in a kibbutz in Israel, travelling through Jordan, Egypt and Europe before settling permanently in the UK. She started her career in recruitment in 1997, starting off in a little agency in Cardiff before moving to London to support a team of 7 consultants, before being offered a Trainee Consultant role. Working with and learning from highly talented and experienced Consultants, she went on to build her own successful temps desk recruiting back office staff into the very competitive area of investment banking. This experience was the building blocks to a future in recruitment and led her to her first role with TPP back in 2006 covering temporary and contract finance recruitment in to the non-profit and public sector. After a successful 3 years with TPP as a 360 recruiter, she went on to having a family and taking 6 years off to be a full-time mother and returned in 2016 as TPP's Talent Acquisition Manager.

Nikki Waite

Nikki loves to travel and see new places, a major highlight being the east coast of Australia - camping on Fraser Island, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef and sailing the Whitsundays!

Rachel Ridout

Rachel initially trained as a musician, specialising in classical saxophone, at the prestigious Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music, gaining a Bachelor of Music with 1st class honours and Master of Arts with distinction, respectively. As a multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, clarinet, flute, and piano), her career as a freelance professional musician was extremely varied, performing as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral member in venues such as St. John's Smith Square, Cadogan Hall and Glyndebourne Opera House, as well as venues in Europe and Asia. A particular career highlight was playing clarinet for Tooting Arts Club's critically acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd, which transferred to London's West End (Shaftesbury Avenue), supported by Cameron Mackintosh, and regularly visited in person by none other than the composer himself, the late Stephen Sondheim. During this time, Rachel also delivered outreach programmes and workshops, as well as preparing students for various music exams, and it was this experience in the education sector that led her to pursue a career in education recruitment initially, placing teachers, support, and administrative staff in schools across London. Having found this extremely rewarding, Rachel decided to make the move to TPP as their dedicated consultant working with awarding organisations across the country to ensure they have the dedicated, specialised education and training staff they need to continue the invaluable contribution they make to the UK education landscape. Rachel is also a proud member of TPP's EDI Steering Group, which works hard to ensure that both TPP and our clients are aware of their EDI responsibilities, and that they are taking the necessary steps to promote greater diversity and inclusion as part of their standard recruitment processes. Russell Carr

Having previously been a TPP candidate, Russell's relationship with TPP goes back to 2004. In 2007, Russell joined TPP as Accounts Supervisor, looking mainly after our invoicing & payroll function, and management accounts. Russell's role has diversified significantly over the years to now cover multiple areas and he works closely with colleagues on several non-financial matters, as well as the key financial aspects of TPP's growth trajectory. He is responsible for ensuring TPP are making use of best in class technology, ensuring we give our candidates & clients the best experience possible when interacting with TPP on money matters. Over the years, Russell has developed some great relationships with our loyal clients and candidates, and hugely enjoys supporting them in any way he can. Russell enjoys following the news, spending time with his young family (when they're not giving him grey hairs) and is an avid follower of most sports (from the relative comfort of his living room).

Samantha Johnston

Samantha started her recruitment career in 2010 initially as a consultant, progressing up to management following her time at the University of Liverpool where she gained a degree in Sociology. She joined TPP in 2014 as a consultant on the Education and Training team and now manages the Education division. Samantha joined the senior management team in January 2020. Samantha has successfully placed professionals across the private, public and non-profit sectors from executive search level, through to all levels of contingency recruitment on an interim and permanent basis. Samantha has found her niche in supporting the education sector. Education is integral to the UK economy and plays a pivotal role in a person's employment and development opportunities, not to mention the wide research that impacts innovations across the world. For Samantha, working in a sector and engaging with candidates that provide such significant social and economic progress is inspiring and rewarding. Samantha enjoys travel and has been lucky enough to travel extensively across the world. Highlights have included hiking Machu Pichu, camping in the Amazon, and snorkelling the great barrier reef. Her time travelling has opened her eyes to the climate crisis, and she is passionate about supporting environmental causes.
