Dr. Carlos Garcia has an educational background spanning two countries, with a list of exceptional merits. He first earned a DDS from Brazil's prestigious State University of Rio de Janeiro in 1997, graduating with honors, and became licensed to practice there. Dr. Garcia later moved to the United States, where he attended University of Southern California's School of Dentistry, again graduating with honors, and earning a dual DDS degree. He served as a teaching assistant at both institutions. He has been elected to: The national dental honor society, Alumni of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Zeta Chapter. Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (a selective all-discipline organization). And nominated for membership in the American Association for the Advancement of Science; Science Program for Excellence in Science
