Antonio Anta

Antonio Anta has nearly 40 years of experience in the area of telecommunications and spent nearly the last 30 years working in the area of undersea cable networks. He has been a consultant since 2009, starting serving as ACMA Chairman on behalf of Telefonica for 2 years and after that has worked on several major undersea cable projects, including BRUSA, MAREA and PCCS (where he served as PG chair). Prior to those assignments, Antonio worked for Infinera in their Submarine Systems Division. He retired from Telefonica in 2009, where he was Network Vice President. During his tenure at Telefonica, Antonio was responsible for the SAM-1 project implementation and operation. Mr. Anta holds a title of Telecommunications Engineer from Politécnica Madrid. Mr. Anta is fluent in Spanish (mother language) and has excellent English and French oral and written skills. He is also able to read and understand Portuguese.

David Ross

Since 1970, Mr. Ross has been at the forefront in developing international communications networks throughout the world, including emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands and the Americas. Mr. Ross serves as a senior advisor to telecom operators, private network developers and investors, and government agencies, primarily in business planning for network construction and asset acquisition. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and contributor to conference workshops. Prior to forming DRG in 1999, Mr. Ross held executive positions in Bell Laboratories, AT&T, and Tyco Submarine Systems. He holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Michigan.

Elaine Stafford

Mrs. Stafford has been leading the development, engineering, implementation and sales of undersea fiber-optic cable system projects worldwide since the early 1980s. Most recently Ms. Stafford has advised DRG clients with due-diligence analysis, feasibility studies, business plans, planning, engineering, procurement management and project management for projects in the Americas, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia- including AAE-1, PCCS, SEA-US, SEACOM, TE-North, MedCable and TWA. Elaine has a unique blend of project, commercial and technical expertise. Prior to joining DRG, Ms. Stafford was an executive at Tyco Telecom, AT&T Submarine Systems and at AT&T Bell Laboratories with responsibilities spanning business development, global sales, project management, network engineering, product management, system design, system test, and the development of terminal equipment (hardware and software) for undersea networks. Ms. Stafford holds a BSEE from Union College and an MSEE from Stanford University. She has been recognized by SubOptic for her contributions to the industry.

Frank Cuccio

Frank Cuccio brings over 30 years' experience in the subsea cable marine engineering, operations and repair, as well as project management to DRG's team. During his career, most recently as an independent technical advisor for an arctic cable project and before that, as an executive at TE SubCom, Frank worked in operations, engineering, project management, and cable maintenance. He was responsible for the engineering, construction and maintenance of approximately 300,000 KM of commercial submarine fiber optic cable for clients worldwide. Frank was responsible for the design, construction and operation of SubCom's cable laying fleet including 8 ships, 9 Remotely Operated Vehicles, 8 Sea Plows.

Jim Baroni

Mr. Baroni has over 35 years of experience in area of fiber optic system design and has worked for leading-edge R&D organizations within AT&T Bell Laboratories and RCA Laboratories' - David Sarnoff Research Center. Mr. Baroni has been involved in the development, engineering and procurement of international undersea cable systems since 1992. He held senior technical management positions within Tycom and Tyco Telecommunications where he had network and system design responsibilities for the Tyco Global Network (TGN). Prior to joining DRG in 2006, Mr. Baroni was Vice President of Procurement Management for Tata Communications where he was responsible for global cost reduction and strategic procurement activities. Since joining DRG, he has been active in providing engineering support for SEACOM, MENA, GBI, MCS and numerous other projects. Mr. Baroni holds a BSEE from Rutgers University, a MSEE from Drexel University and is a Senior Member of the IEEE. Mr. Baroni has over 35 years of experience in the area of fiber optic system design and has worked for leading-edge R&D organizations within AT&T Bell Laboratories and RCA Laboratories'…

John Mariano

John Mariano has over 40 years experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in planning, deployment and operation of undersea fiber systems. While with DRG, Mr. Mariano has been involved in undersea projects around the globe, including major commercial transoceanic networks and environmental sensor networks. Prior to joining DRG, Mr. Mariano was COO of Global Photon Inc. Mr. Mariano had a distinguished 30-year career in AT&T, AT&T Bell Laboratories and Tyco Submarine Systems Ltd., where he was responsible for a variety of technical and business developments, including new applications and marine deployment of undersea system technology for commercial systems as well as for serving offshore platform networks. Mr. Mariano has a BSCE from the University of Connecticut and MS in Applied Mechanics from Stanford University and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Mike Morecombe

Mike Morecombe has 30+ years of experience in the cable industry, having spent most of that time focused on undersea cable marine engineering. He has been a consultant since 2010 and joined DRG recently to serve as the Marine Working Group chair for a major, new transpacific system now in construction. Before then, Mike provided marine expertise for a spectrum of global projects, including Tata Gulf, WACS, ASC, Vanuatu and MYTHIC. He retired from Cable and Wireless in 2010, as a Principal Engineer on their marine team, culminating over 20 years of service. Mike also has extensive project management and factory QA experience. Uniquely, Mike was involved in the redeployment and recommissioning of recovered/refurbished undersea systems.

Stan Kramer

Stan Kramer has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications & electronics industry, specializing in marketing & sales, procurement and manufacturing. Stan provides DRG clients with support in developing business cases and periodic reassessment of their business plans, developing network solutions, procurement and program management of undersea cable systems. He also supports market studies and due diligence of potential acquisitions. Prior to joining DRG, Mr. Kramer was responsible for Tyco Electronics global operations strategy and implementation of cost and delivery improvements. While at Tyco Telecommunications, he held executive level responsibility for sales, marketing, business development, procurement and product management for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of undersea cable systems. Earlier in his career Stan worked in various AT&T organizations and locations, including AT&T Federal Systems supplying both commercial and US Department of Defense undersea related products. Mr. Kramer has served for more than 10 years on various boards, including APICS Foundation, APICS (Board Director and Officer) and telecommunication companies. Mr. Kramer holds a B.S. in Operations Management from The Pennsylvania State University. Stephen Fitzpatrick

Mr. Fitzpatrick has over 40 years experience in the telecommunications industry, specializing in planning, deployment and operation of undersea fiber systems. Mr. Fitzpatrick has been a member of DRG team since 2008. He has supported the successful development and implementation of projects such as the SEACOM Cable system and the GBI Cable System. Prior to joining DRG Mr. Fitzpatrick worked on numerous government networking projects in both the undersea and surface ship realm. He joined Bell Labs in 1986 and has supported leading edge manufacturing projects in undersea sensor development, cable deployment and advanced signal processor development and manufacture. He supported development of the Third Generation Wide Band CDMA Wireless system for DoCoMo and similar technology projects for Lucent Technologies just prior to joining the 10 Gigabit Development Project for Tycom. Mr. Fitzpatrick has been a director of Product Assurance departments overseeing Configuration Management, Reliability, Quality Assurance and Logistics. Mr. Fitzpatrick holds a BSME from Manhattan College.
