HEALTH CARE CENTER - Key Persons
Andrea grew up in a small town in Louisiana and she
appreciates the community spirit in rural Shelton,
Washington. After pursuing a Bachelor of Science
degree in Boulder, Colorado, she attended the
University of Colorado Medical School and received a
degree as a physician's assistant (P.A.). She then
spent a year in Africa practicing medicine before
returning to the U.S. She joined the faculty
at University of Colorado School of Medicine where she
was a clinical professor of pediatrics for four years.
She then met her future husband who was living in
Shelton and moved to Mason County in 1977. Her
mission has been to provide easy access to quality
medical care in her community. She has been at the
Health Care Center for over 30 years.
Michael Myers PA-C, is originally from Fort Benning,
Georgia, and as a military dependent lived in a variety
of locations throughout the United States and
Germany. After graduating from high school in
Tacoma, WA, he spent 22 years in the U.S. Navy, first
as a medical corpsman, then as a physician's
assistant (P.A.
after attending the George
Washington University. He also holds a Bachelor of
Arts in psychology and sociology from St. Martins
University in Lacey, WA. He has provided care at the
Health Care Center for over 20 years.
