JRM COUNTRYSIDE SERVICES - Key Persons

James Miller

James Miller's early years were spent growing up on the family small holding in Devon while attending school up to the age of eighteen. His passion for animals came from the joy of rearing them to a high welfare standard and thus wanted a career in farming. After a gap year, James attended the Royal Agricultural University and gained a BSc (Hons) Agriculture: Advanced Livestock Production. During his time at University James was fortunate to win the Farmers Guardian Agricultural Student of the Year competition 2012. The prize was a year working on farms in New Zealand. In NZ, James worked on a 600 hectare Arable farm and a 1,000 dairy unit and gained valuable experience towards his career. Returning in October 2014, James set out to gain all the relevant City & Guilds/NPTC & Lantra qualifications in order to provide the skill set needed for JRM Countryside Services. We are fully qualified for the services we provide and meet legal and safety requirements.
