Jessica Masters

Jessica Masters, Ph.D., is a founding partner. Dr. Masters has extensive experience leading and participating in small and large scale research efforts. Dr. Masters began conducting research on educational technology while pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science. She has since gained extensive expertise in the intersections of technology and assessment, including the design and evaluation of diagnostic assessments and technology-enhanced assessments. She has experience with all phases of the research process, including both qualitative and quantitative methods and analysis. Dr. Masters frequently presents at conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Technology, Learning and Assessment and the Journal of Research on Technology in Education, among others. Dr. Masters teaches Computer Science at several local community colleges.

Lisa Famularo

Job Titles:

Lisa Famularo, Ph.D., is a founding partner. Dr. Famularo has over 20 years of experience designing and directing quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods research projects. Dr. Famularo has led numerous large- and small-scale research projects supported by federal agencies (e.g. USDE, SAMHSA, FDA, and NHTSA), foundations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Over the course of her career, Dr. Famularo has conducted countless interviews and focus groups with a wide-range of research participants and has developed myriad surveys, interview protocols and other data collection instruments. She has taught graduate statistics and assessment courses at Boston College and Harvard University. Dr. Famularo's publications focus on bridging the gap between academic research, policy, and practice.
