In Another Place is a Community Theatre Company located in the heart of Bootle Strand Shopping Centre, bringing joy and dignity to the local community... Alongside our activities in Bootle Strand we run two school assembly teams and we work with schools to equip students to deliver assemblies. In addition to this we also run two choirs, and we offer affordable music lessons in ukulele, guitar and keyboard... We reach all ages and backgrounds, and our volunteers often report improvements in mental wellbeing and confidence from their involvement with us. We nurture young people through skill development and offering an opportunity to be involved with the arts to those that may not otherwise have the chance. We support families by offering regular free activities and performances for them in their local shopping centre. We respect the elderly by noticing the skills and experience they have and giving them an opportunity to use those to contribute to their local community.
