Quiros joined the Carthage staff in 2019 after spending two years at MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill. as the head coach of the men's and women's wrestling teams. Hired just one year after each program was added at the college, he was given the task of building two teams from the ground up. Before joining MacMurray's staff, Quiors spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Augustana College, where he had been a volunteer coach for three years prior after graduating from the school in 2012.
During his senior year at Augustana, Quiros was crowned the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) champion and outstanding wrestler of the year. He was a runner-up at the 2012 NCAA Great Lakes Regional, and qualified for the National Championship. He graduated from Augustana with a bachelor of arts in psychology and history.

Brandy Johnston is in her fourth year at the helm of the women's golf program in 2022-23 and third season being promoted to Director of Golf in September 2020. In her first year at Carthage, the women's team won their first CCIW Championship since 2014, their seventh title in program history, and had five all-conference honors. Johnston was named the CCIW Coach of the Year, the program's first honor since 2014. She coached Adrienne Rohwedder to WGCA All-Great Lakes Region honors and set program records for the season scoring average at 316.0, and broke the two-day score record at the UW-Whitewater Invitational with a 615.
In her second season with the women's team, the Firebirds finished second at the CCIW Championship and Johnston grabbed her second consecutive CCIW Coach of the Year honor as she coached Kate Munro to a WGCA All-Great Lakes Region honor. Munro, Madi McCoy, and Alina Brindza were also CCIW All-conference selections during the tournament.

One of the Kenosha area's most-touted amateur golfers, Carly Werwie begins her third year as a graduate assistant coach in 2017-18. A native of Kenosha, Wis., Werwie attended Bradford High School, where she won the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association individual state title in both 2004 and 2005.
Werwie attended Wisconsin-Madison and played golf for the Badgers. She set a school record for the lowest 72-hole total at the Big Ten Conference Women's Golf Championship and was the recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship award in 2011. Werwie graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's in human development & family studies.
Throughout Werwie's amateur career, she played in numerous national tournaments and United States Golf Association events. In 2008, she was named the Wisconsin "Women's Player of the Year."
Following graduation, she worked for one year at Bright Horizons in Abbott Park, Ill., while advancing through all three stages of Ladies Professional Golf Association Q-School, earning her full status on the LPGA Symetra Tour. She competed and played full time on that tour between 2013 and 2015 and qualified for final stage of the LPGA Q-School three years in a row.
Carly is the lead instructor for The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha and also works as the First Assistant at Racine Country Club. Carly is currently a PGA Level 1 Apprentice working towards her way of being a PGA Member and is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Level 1 Certified since November of 2017.
Werwie is currently working on her master's in educational leadership at Carthage which will be completed Spring of 2018.

Jay Christiansen is in his third season as the head men's golf coach, recently retiring after a 34-year career as a high school educator, the last 32 at Mukwonago High School. Christiansen was a 1987 graduate of UW Stevens Point, where he was a four-year varsity baseball pitcher. He has spent his career coaching a variety of sports, including 32 years as a high school basketball coach, bringing home the silver ball from the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament in 95-96 as Mukwonago High School's head coach, and again in 12-13 as a varsity assistant. While at Mukwonago High School, Christiansen spent the last 12 years as the boy's golf varsity co-head coach, and 19 seasons as the girl's head golf coach. Christiansen led two teams and four individuals to the WIAA state tournament for the men and four teams to the state tournament along with coaching four individuals as state qualifiers on the women's side.
A competitive amateur golfer, Christiansen was the membership league chairman at Rainbow Springs Golf Course, and co-directed the youth golf program from 1999 to 2009, working with hundreds of young golfers each summer. Christiansen has been part of the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin Board of Directors for the last 12 years and currently serves as the President of the Association.
He and his wife Bridget reside in Mukwonago, where she is a 4th-grade teacher, and they have three children: Katie, Alex, and Andy.

John Sams was hired in November of 2022 as the new head women's golf coach. Sams was perviously the head boy's and girl's golf coach at Kettle Moraine HS in Waukesha County. He guided a total of 11 teams to the WIAA State Golf Tournaments with an outcome of two state titles and two runner ups.

Katelyn Zwiefelhofer became the first head women's bowling coach in program history in August of 2019. She joined the athletic staff after spending the previous four years as an assistant bowling coach for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
In their first season of competition, Zwiefelhofer became the first-ever CCIW Coach of the Year after helping the Firebirds reach the CCIW Championship match finishing second in the tournament.
Zweifelhofer led the 2023 Firebirds team to the CCIW Championship which ended in a victory over Marian (Wis.). After clinching the CCIW crown, the team competed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Lansing, Mich. In the historic season, Zweifelhofer, was named the CCIW Coach of the Year for the second time in her career, and rightfully earned NTCA Division lll Coach of the Year. The virtuoso of a coach now has an overall record of 86-92 (.483) and 24-22 (.521) in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.
During her stint at Wisconsin-Whitewater, she assisted the head coach in practices, drills and planned tournaments while working with student-athletes to further their skills and knowledge in the game of bowling.
As a player, Zwiefelhofer was an All-American in bowling at Wisconsin-Whitewater, and owns the school record for a single-game score at 289.

Mike Scardina (101-62-2, 2 years) begins his second year as head women's golf coach in 2016-17. He was named head coach in the spring of 2015 after serving two seasons as a part-time assistant coach.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Scardina attended Central Methodist University and graduated in 1976 with a bachelor's in business administration. He was inducted into that school's athletic hall of fame in 2011 for his accomplishments in football and track and field.
He went on to a 36-year career with the Allstate Insurance Company, serving as chief financial officer for operations and information technology and chief executive officer of Allstate Northern Ireland, a division Scardina started in 1998.
While at Allstate, he created the "Allstate Good Hands Award," a weekly honor for outstanding athletic performance. In 2008, Scardina was honored by Great Britain with an Officer of the of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his service to economic development in Northern Ireland.
He retired from Allstate in 2013 and now lives in Vernon Hills, Ill. Scardina is an avid golfer, has won multiple amateur events and has competed in the Irish Open and the British Senior Open.
