Howard & Dean, Inc. is an architectural millwork company located in Chesapeake City, MD. The company was founded in 1980 by Ken Dean and the late Frank Howard. Ken and Frank shared an interest in woodworking and 18th century architecture which inspired them to start a small reproduction millwork shop... Through the years , our production capabilities have increased and our appreciation of architectural styles has expanded, as evidenced by the diversity of our portfolio. Our background in historic restoration and knowledge of traditional joinery techniques, however, continue to inform our approach to woodworking. We remain committed to and excited about producing challenging and aesthetically pleasing architectural woodwork.
