Attorney Bruce Leichty

The Lawyers' Committee for 9/11 Inquiry is pleased and proud to announce that Attorney Bruce Leichty, a solo practitioner in Escondido, Calif., has joined our Board of Directors. Attorney Leichty represented 9/11 widow and truth advocate Ellen Mariani in the final five years (2008-2013) of her efforts in New York federal court and New Hampshire probate court to discover the facts and obtain accountability for the death of her husband Neil who was booked as a passenger on United Flight 175. In his 30-plus years practicing law after earning a J.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, Leichty's work has focused on plaintiff's civil litigation, assisting clients seeking remedies for federal, state and local government misconduct; remedies for insurer bad faith; immigration remedies; and protecting freedom of speech and religion guaranteed by the First Amendment. He holds an M.A. from the University of Chicago Divinity School and a B.A. from Goshen College in Indiana. Attorney Leichty is licensed in California and in all federal courts in that state, and has been admitted to practice before federal courts of appeal for the 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 9th circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Lawyers' Committee for 9/11 Inquiry is pleased and proud to announce that Attorney Charlotte Dennett has joined our Board of Directors. An accomplished author and investigative journalist as well as a lawyer, Dennett is the author of The People v. Bush: One Lawyer's Campaign to Bring the President to Justice which chronicles her campaign for Attorney General of Vermont on a pledge if elected to prosecute President George W. Bush for sending U.S. troops to Iraq based on a lie. A former reporter in the Middle East identified by Time magazine as an "expert in resources-based politics", her most recent book, Follow the Pipelines: Uncovering the Mystery of a Lost Spy and the Deadly Politics of the Great Game for Oil (2020), investigates her father's mysterious death in 1947 following his top secret mission to Saudi Arabia to determine the route for the Trans-Arabian Pipeline. Based in part on declassified documents from lawsuits against the CIA, it reveals how feverish competition among intelligence networks, military, and Big Oil interests have fueled indiscriminate attacks and targeted killings that continue to this day and have contributed to the endless wars plaguing the Middle East. Dennett also co-authored with Gerard Colby Thy Will be Done. The Conquest of the Amazon: Nelson Rockefeller and Evangelism in the Age of Oil.[1995) that has been called an anatomy of conquest. As a Gold Star Daughter, Charlotte identifies with the 9/11 families and is determined to uncover the truth about and gain accountability for the events of Sept. 11th.

Attorney Jane Clark

Attorney Jane Clark, Co-founder of the Lawyers' Committee for 9/11 Inquiry, Inc., its first President and a Member of the Board of Directors, will serve as Executive Director. An experienced lawyer, Ms. Clark has been a leader of the organization since its inception and was also a leader and organizer of the predecessor organization to the Lawyers' Committee, an association of attorneys focused on 9/11 evidence not supportive of the official story. Ms. Clark's 28-year general legal practice in Texas, for which she is licensed in State and Federal Courts, includes Workers' Compensation, probate, personal injury, domestic relations, and criminal law cases. Ms. Clark received her law degree from the University of Idaho School of Law (Moscow), a Master's Degree from Texas A & M University in Biochemistry & Biophysics (College Station), and worked for the famed Professor Emeritus Dr. Joseph Nagyvary from Budapest, Hungary on cancer research at TAMU. Her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree is from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas, Texas. From 1980 to the present Ms. Clark has worked with major President John F. Kennedy assassination researchers as well as with the late Lawrence Teeter, Esq. on legal research into the facts of the Robert F. Kennedy assassination in Teeter's position as Counsel for Sirhan Sirhan. She is also counsel for JFK Lancer, the major conference held in Dallas each year in November for JFK Assassination researchers from around the world

Barbara Honegger

Barbara Honegger, M.S., who has been a Member of the Board for five years, will serve as Board Chairman. Ms. Honegger has served in a number of high-level positions in the federal government including White House Policy Analyst, Special Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, Director of the Attorney General's Law Review at the Dept. of Justice, and for more than a decade was the Senior Military Affairs Journalist at the Naval Postgraduate School, the premiere science, technology and national security affairs graduate research university of the Department of Defense. She is the author of the book October Surprise subsequently validated by formerly classified documents that led to a Congressional reinvestigation of the Iran side of the Iran-Contra scandal funded at the level of the 9/11 Commission and has been an investigative researcher, author, public speaker and major activist on the events of Sept. 11th from the day.

The Lawyers Committee for 9/11 Inquiry (LC) is pleased and proud to announce that Architect Richard Gage, AIA, has joined our Board of Directors. Richard comes to the Lawyers' Committee after 15 years as the founder and CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth). Though Richard is no longer associated with AE911Truth, the Lawyers' Committee looks forward to our organizations continuing, as we have for many years, to work together on projects critical to the 9/11 Truth Movement going forward. In addition to being the LC's first onboard technical expert with his wealth of architectural experience and in-depth knowledge of the forensic facts regarding WTCs 1, 2 and 7, Richard will be partnering with the LC on a new cutting-edge 9/11 documentary film and joining other LC Board Members for radio interviews and public appearances while also being free to speak and do interviews as part of his new independent mission (see RichardGage911.org). We are excited to have someone of Richard Gage's outstanding credentials and experience on the Board and look forward to working together for even more success in this new Chapter for the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Susan Serpa

Susan Serpa is a numbers-cruncher and somewhat a forensic accountant. Originally an art major, took a different career path and worked herself up the ladder in accounting; she spent 16 years as an accounting manager for a large corporate law firm in Boston and is currently a Rep Payee/staff accountant for a medical non-profit supporting mental health clients in Worcester MA. As an active member of Boston 9/11 Truth since 2007, she also has a grassroots activist perspective to lend to the Lawyers Committee for 9/11 Inquiry.
