Dr Kingshuk Majumder

Dr Kingshuk Majumder is a consultant gynaecologist and specialist in reproductive medicine and surgery. He completed a fellowship in advanced minimal access surgery at the King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth, Australia. He has been a consultant Gynaecologist at St. Mary's Hospital Manchester since 2011. His specialist expertise includes all aspects of reproductive medicine and surgery including management of infertility, minimal access surgery for patients needing hysterectomy, myomectomy and management of advanced endometriosis

Dr Michelle MacKintosh

Dr MacKintosh is a consultant gynaecologist and gynaecological oncologist. She qualified from the University of Manchester, undertook general training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the North West of England and went on to complete subspecialty training in Gynaecological Oncology at St. Mary's Hospital and The Christie Hospital, Manchester. She has also completed additional training in advanced surgical techniques for ovarian cancer in an internationally renowned centre in Germany and is a Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists accredited gynaecological oncology surgeon She was awarded an MD by the University of Manchester for her research into the effects of obesity and weight loss on endometrial cancer risk and has published widely and presented internationally on the subject. She has also been involved in the development of national guidelines on the management of uterine cancer and has written several book chapters. Dr MacKintosh was appointed as an NHS consultant in gynaecological oncology at St. Mary's Hospital, Manchester in 2018, where she is heavily involved in providing high-quality patient care through her additional roles in Clinical Effectiveness and as Mortality & Morbidity Lead. As well as caring for women with proven or suspected gynaecological cancers she is also a BSCCP accredited colposcopist, specialising in the management of abnormal smear tests and vulval disorders. She is able to provide advanced level laparoscopic and open surgery to manage these and other gynaecological complaints such as menstrual problems, ovarian cysts, fibroids and endometriosis.

Dr. Gail Busby

Dr Busby is a national committee member of the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecolgy and is very active in this regard. Dr Gail Busby qualified at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad in 1996. Dr Busby then trained in Manchester and the Northwest Region and qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002.

Dr. Kenneth Ma

Dr. Kenneth Ma qualified at the University of Edinburgh in 2007. He then trained in Wessex Deanery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2013 and was nationally selected to complete his advanced training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for excision of Benign disease in Manchester. He completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2016 which included training in Early Pregnancy Ultrasound scanning and Gynaecological ultrasound scanning and minimal access surgery. Dr. Ma is a consultant Gynaecologist at St. Mary's Hospital in Manchester and was clinical for Emergency Gynaecology services between 2017 and 2022. He received referrals from across the North West region for complex early pregnancy cases. He is a named surgeon at the Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre accredited by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. His special interests includes pelvic pain, severe endometriosis and excisional surgery, ultrasound scanning, menstrual disorders and early pregnancy complications. He is passionate about surgical training and has been nominated for Regional Trainer of the Year award. Dr Ma qualified in medicine at Edinburgh University. He is a consultant gynaecologist and is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery for the excision of benign disease. He is an expert in early pregnancy scanning and gynaecological ultrasound scanning.He is a named surgeon at the Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre accredited by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.

Dr. Rick Clayton

Dr Clayton qualified in medicine at Leeds University. He is a consultant gynaecologist and accredited as a sub-specialty trained surgeon in gynaecological oncology by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. His research degree (MD) studied potential novel treatments for endometriosis. During this time he was trained to an advanced level in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. He has undertaken fellowship training in gynaecological oncology and laparoscopy in Australia and gynaecological oncology in London (Barts and the Marsden). In NHS practice, he works at St Mary's Hospital, Manchester and Christie Hospital, Manchester as a gynaecological oncologist. In addition, he is a general gynaecologist and looks after patients with a variety of problems including abnormal smears, vulval disorders, menstrual problems, post-menopausal bleeding, ovarian cysts and endometriosis.
