WILDLIFE IMPACT

Wildlife Impact was founded by Julie Sherman and Linda Brent. Julie has been working professionally to protect wildlife and natural habitats for 20 years, including western North American wildlife, fish and marine mammals of the Western Pacific Ocean, endangered wildlife of the developing world, and most recently African primates. She has served as Executive Director for two nonprofit organizations for a total of 9 years. Julie has a Master's degree and has studied fruit bats, birds and primates in the wild. Linda Brent, PhD, is a primate behavior and primate welfare expert. She founded Chimp Haven, a sanctuary for retired laboratory chimpanzees. Linda served the Executive Director of Chimp Haven for 10 years.
