In 2011, Colin Thompson and Samantha Ayers began the company as Custom Carpentry by CPT, a licensed millwork and renovation company. At the time, Colin was the youngest licensed contractor on the Big Island of Hawaii, at the age of 25. The company prided itself on modern construction practices coupled with old world knowledge. After 6 years of successful projects and one marriage, Colin and Samantha Thompson evolved the company into CPT General Building. The company continues to evolve and keep up with modern technology and building practices through continued education and by pushing the limits of whats expected from a construction company.
