We are a spinoff from Datacom, a company founded in 1998 which develops telecom hardware and software. Datacom products are manufactured in Brazil and sold to telecom operators, service providers and utilities around the globe... Datacom Electronics GmbH is based in Vienna with the goal of advancing the revolution happening in the Data Center, which began with Cloud Computing and is progressing further with Software Defined Infrastructure... We believe this movement will profoundly affect the traditional telecom environment. Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) will not just be a way of reducing CapEx, but will reduce OpEx and most importantly of all, will allow telecom operators to offer new services and generate more aggregated value via their infrastructure.
