Erik Herter

Erik is the founder and principal of Herter Design Group, Inc. a graphic design consultancy with substantial experience creating environmental graphics, wayfinding, branding, and print media for a wide range of institutions, both public and private, large and small, including schools and universities, hospitals and medical institutions, museums and cultural centers, real estate developments, and hotels, casinos, and resorts. Previously, Erik spent 10 years at Poulin + Morris. As Creative Director there, Erik was responsible for creative and project direction, design, management, and coordination. He directed the development of environmental graphics, donor recognition, and wayfinding sign programs for educational, cultural and medical institutions including Cornell University, NewYork-Presbyterian, NPR, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Vassar College; and a comprehensive branding program for the American Society of Landscape Architects. His work has been recognized for design excellence by American Package Design Awards, Applied Arts, Communication Arts, EG Magazine, Graphic Design USA, Graphis, HOW Magazine, and the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD). Erik graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.

Sherry Leung

Sherry is one of the founding members and a senior designer at Herter Design Group, a graphic design firm specializing in environmental graphics, wayfinding, signage, and branding. She is currently working on projects ranging from the expansion of ResortsWorld Casino in Queens; new headquarters for the New York City Economic Development Corporation; and Phase 1 of Pace University's master plan in Manhattan. Previously, Sherry was a senior designer at Poulin + Morris Inc. responsible for project design, management, and coordination. Her work included comprehensive environmental graphics, donor recognition, and wayfinding sign programs for cultural, educational, and medical institutions including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, Museum of Mississippi History, Princeton University, University of Kentucky College of Law, and University of Massachusetts Amherst; environmental graphics and wayfinding sign programs for MGM National Harbor resort and casino; and a donor recognition wall for the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Her work has been recognized for design excellence by American Package Design Awards, Graphic Design USA, and Graphis. Sherry graduated with honors from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design.
