HARYANA WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Haryana Women Development Corporation was set up in 1982 as Haryana Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam Limited. In 1987, a women wing was established in the Corporation and the Corporation was renamed as Haryana Women and Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam Limited. Again on 1.4.1991, the Corporation was converted into Haryana Women Development Corporation Limited. The Corporation was registered under Companies Act 1956, with an authorized share capital of Rs. 2 crore but as on date the authorized share-capital is Rs. 30 crores. As per Memmorandum of Association of HWDC, there is a set up of specified objectives according to which the company function for the welfare of the women in need.
