Anthony O'Brien, the owner of the company, grew up watching his father who was an independent contractor for the Freihofer Baking Co. His father had an incredible work ethic and as young boy Anthony knew he wanted to own his own trucks one day. After driving trucks for other people, Anthony decided it was time to work for himself. This lead him to start LKQ Transport, LLC, which is named after his three children Lucius, Kailey and Quinn.
