Cameron has worked within the Youth worker sector, focusing on Disabilities and Mental Health issues. Cameron also worked within Lifelines telephone help line which provided him training in psychological first aid to individuals and families who have experienced sudden and traumatic injuries, along with grief and bereavement support to families where their loved one has an unexpected trauma resulting in sudden death. Cameron has vast knowledge of Disability both through his study and his personal experiences, Cameron was born with a disability and was use his life experiences to advocate and assist those who may be facing the same ordeal. Cameron is passionate and an advocate for disability sports as both mental and physical health therapy, which he also participates as a Queensland Wheelchair Rugby player. My name is Pita and "Taggi" to my friends. My human service career really started while I was residing in Fiji and I started working for the Fiji Police Force. I then got an opportunity to work for, Australian Defence Corporation as Accounts Officer in 1994. This was at the Australian High Commission in Suva, which got me really interested in migrating to Australia, and the rugby. I was able to fulfil this dream when I moved here in 1998. My beliefs and values led me to work for the NSW Department of Juvenile Justice, where I worked with marginalised youth for many years before moving to Queensland in 2015. I took up a position as care coordinator and respite manager with a disability organisation in Toowoomba. I resigned to complete my studies in Community Services at USQ. I have a strong background in case management associated with community rehabilitation and youth justice. I believe that everyone should be treated fairly by the social systems that have been created to support them. As an Australian citizen I firmly believe that every Australian deserves to be treated with the dignity and respect under the law.

Rebecca Brilleman
