CDEC was established out of the desire to provide our customers with Turnkey installations of commercial, industrial electrical, controls and instrumentation systems. Our long time customers indicated the need to work with a company that not only provided the installation of a system, but that had the resources and capabilities to design, program, start-up and maintain sophisticated industrial control systems. Many of the other firms in the electrical contracting business do not have the in-house technical capabilities that are needed when working with today's highly sophisticated computerized control and instrumentation systems. Firms that specialize in this type of work must have the technical resources and knowledge that are normally found only in the system's integration and engineering business. CDEC maintains a close working relationship with Kippro Engineering, Inc., which provides the control design and programming and R.O. Covington & Associates for the power distribution..
