Portuguese navigator, Bartolomeu Dias, sets eyes on the Cape Town Peninsula, marking the beginning of a rich history... Over 30,000 vines are registered for excise purposes on the Cape Point Vineyards Farm, contributing to the flourishing viticulture landscape... Alexander Moir, a boilermaker on ships in Cape Town and the grandfather of current co-owner Stephen Newton, buys Good Hope Farm in Noordhoek to farm chickens. This farm later becomes part of what is now known as Cape Point Vineyards.
