Divya Susan Varkey is certified by Hofstede Insights in Intercultural Communications Management and Organizational Culture. With double masters degrees in Intercultural Communications (University of Lugano, Switzerland) and Communications (School of Communication, Manipal, India) and more than ten years of work experience in various fields, she uses her experiences and learning from traveling in 18 countries and living in 3 to conduct effective workshops for participants from all over the globe. She has had first hand experience in co-starting an SME in Bangalore, India and being part of the recruitment and policy building processes. In the years following her entry into Intercultural communications training, she has trained high and medium level executives and students from more than 50 different countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Greece, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Turkey, Morocco, Tanzania, China and India. Having worked and studied in multicultural teams, she believes in the power of diversity and that understanding "the other" can be the one of the most enriching experiences that one can have. Divya has worked as a freelance master of ceremonies, hosting audiences of over 1000 people and conducted team building workshops for small and larger teams in various corporates. With her charisma and complete ease with addressing large groups of people, her workshops are highly energetic and interactive.
