Anatolii has been in active law practice in Odesa prior to the full-scale Russian invasion in Ukraine. On 24 th February 2022 he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and since defending the country.
Professional experience
Anatolii has a unique experience in criminal law/process and interaction between government bodies with a background of working as a public prosecutor for more than 30 years. Such expertise allows to develop a right strategy of defence in most difficult cases and enhance a cooperation between authorities and businesses.

Andrii Nyzhnyi is among the developers and teachers of the special course for judges within the framework of the Council of Europe Project "Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine"
Andrii heads the Dispute Resolution practice and co-heads the White Collar Crime practice. He has over 16 years of professional experience in the judiciary and legal consulting. He specializes in the development of corporate legal security measures, comprehensive protection of the interests of corporate and private clients, as well as the resolution of complex disputes and conflicts.
He has practical competencies in supporting commercial and investment disputes, judicial and criminal proceedings arising between creditors and debtors, in developing and implementing strategies for legal protection of business and investments, as well as countering raiding and pressure on business activities.
Ihor specializes in supporting litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, as well as protecting the clint's interests in criminal proceedings.

Ivan heads the firm's office in Odesa. He focuses on complex business transactions and international dispute resolution. He advises legal entities and private investors on negotiating and structuring acquisitions, asset planning and recovery, equity and debt financings, recapitalisations and restructurings, as well as advising on general corporate governance and compliance.
His clients also include public and private companies facing insolvency, as well as companies interested in purchasing assets from insolvency debtors. In particular, Ivan has guided the clients in several multimillion cross-border and multijurisdictional restructurings.
On the business conflict settlement side, Ivan has an experience of advising on national and cross-border dispute resolution. He handles pre-court measures and represents clients in a variety of court and arbitration proceedings. In addition to this, Ivan is developing the maritime law practice.

Ivan has an extensive experience of managing clients' mandates in the London office of Hillmont Partners. Prior to joining the firm, Ivan worked in the prosecutor's office of Odesa region. He represented interests of the state and citizens in court. In his role, he also represented public charges in court.

James leads Hillmont Partners office in London. He heads the Private Client practice and co-heads the Cross-Border Dispute Resolution practice.
His practice is focused on investment planning, assets structuring, acquisition and protection, cross-border transactional and litigation support. James advises Ukrainian private clients and international NPL funds on asset recovery strategies in multiple jurisdictions. His clients include companies listed on stock exchanges in London, Paris, Singapore, New York and Toronto.
He also currently consults international companies with operations in Ukraine on matters ranging from dispute resolution to due diligence and M&A.

Valentyn Zasukha heads the Corporate and M&A practice at the firm.
