NSC is a national organization fighting for inclusive, high-quality skills training so that people have access to a better life, and local businesses see sustained growth. We engage in analysis and technical assistance, organizing, advocacy, and communications to improve state and federal skills policies... Across all of these, NSC purposefully brings a racial equity lens to inform our policy development, our approach to organizing and alliance building, the public narratives we engage and with whom, and in how we run our organization... The Skills Summit is NSC's largest event of the year, convening every stakeholder, every system, every movement, and every political stripe to advance equity and break down the systemic barriers that prevent too many Americans from accessing high-quality, inclusive skills training leading to good jobs and careers.
