NSS Hindu College, Changanassery, the earliest among the institutions of Higher education was established by the Nair Service Society in 1947. Its history, ever since its inception has been a story of rapid and steady expansion. The institution's primary goal is to provide young men and women with a liberal education. The college aims at producing intellectually well-trained, morally upright, and socially committed young minds in nation-building.
