TERRY NEWING

Originally from Blackpool, from a Forces family, I spent my younger years in Norfolk, where my interest in photography first started, taking photographs with an old Yashica camera originally given to me by my father. Then in my mid to late teens, I developed and printed my own pictures using an old enlarger in the spare room... It was many years later, with encouragement from my wife Nikki, that my interest resurfaced, and manifested itself in wildlife photography, a passion that remains today. Nikki continues supporting me in my pursuit of that perfect photo... I have been fortunate that, after seeing one of my photographs an elderly couple commissioned me to do some pet photography. I concluded that maybe I'm not that bad!
