Andrew Orr

Andrew has over 25 years experience as an archaeologist, gaining extensive experience in Europe before working on his first Australian archaeology projects in New South Wales in 1999. Since moving to Victoria in 2006, Andrew has managed cultural heritage projects for a range of sectors including residential subdivisions, local council works, commercial developments, infrastructure, extractive industry works and major utility installations. He has project managed some of largest and most contentious Cultural Heritage projects to have been undertaken in Victoria since the introduction of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006. He brings to his role a proven track record in dealing clearly and effectively with stakeholders, having gained approval for over 100 Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plans from Registered Aboriginal Parties and Aboriginal Affairs Victoria to date. Andrew has also worked on a number of historical archaeological assessments and salvage excavations and has been the named archaeologist on Consents (permits) issued by Heritage Victoria.

Deborah Connelly

  • Archaeologist and Heritage Advisor
Deborah has over 5 years experience as an assistant archaeologist in Victoria and has recently completed Honours in Archaeology, focusing on Aboriginal Shell Middens on Phillip Island. She has demonstrated past and ongoing participation and support for Australian NGOs such as Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages (VACL), Yalari, Songlines Aboriginal Music and Warlukurlangu Artists of Yuendumu.

Gabriel Orr

Job Titles:
  • Archaeological Assistant
Gabriel has carried out casual work for Triskel Heritage on an intermittent basis since the founding of the company in 2014. He has acted as a fieldwork assistant on projects in Bass Coast and East Gippsland and is currently developing his GIS and mapping skills, providing maps for CHMPs.
