West Point Grey Academy (WPGA) was founded in 1996 by a group of Vancouver friends-an idea they had been discussing for some time. They all placed extremely high value on education, and moreover an education that prioritized the whole child, that gave children confidence in themselves and their ability to handle life's challenges, and that promoted an open-minded, global perspective... Located on the Jericho Lands, WPGA is a private day school for grades JK-12, with a strong academic foundation enriched by our commitment to character development, global learning, social justice, environmental sustainability and emotional wellbeing... As we celebrate our 29th anniversary in 2024-2025, we remain deeply committed to our mission, Shaping Lives of Inquiry, Action and Joy, and look ahead to many more generations of Grey Wolves.
