CLEEVE PRIOR HERITAGE TRUST - Key Persons
Brian Taylor, Trustee, has worked in Horticulture since leaving university. Before setting up his own Nursery, specialising in Hanging Baskets, bedding plants and soft perennials, he was employed by the Ministry of Agriculture as a Horticultural Advisor. He then moved into Research, working in Lincolnshire, Holland, Jersey and finally at the National Vegetable Research Centre in Wellesbourne. Brian is passionate about nature and the environment and has dedicated many hours to the Heritage Trust, re-establishing the traditional apple and pear orchards, maintaining and developing and maintaining the traditional barns and facilities.
Gina Carr, Trustee, has a background in education and training. With a postgraduate Certificate in Education, a diploma in Training Management and a fully qualified Human Resources Practitioner she has worked in many different sectors. Before retiring she spent the last ten years working as a lecturer in Human Resource Management. Coupled with 20 plus years experience as a School Governor she has a clear understanding of the Curriculum and the need to meet learning outcomes. She was invited to join the trustees to help promote Educational Visits and the benefits of the Outdoor Classroom. Gina is also CEVAS accredited and therefore fully aware of the requirements for School Visits.
