Dr. Miguel Villacorta is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
He graduated from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine with a joint degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a Masters in Public Health in 2015.
He completed his residency in dermatology in 2019 at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Miguel Villacorta combines his skills in engineering, business management, and development along with his passion for dermatology to give rise to a healthcare model that will take medicine to a new level. A model that focuses on precision, accountability, quality, and most importantly, on the patient and their needs.
Dr. Miguel Villacorta was born and raised in South Florida and spent his summers growing up with family in northern Spain. His family hometown is a small rural town of just 200 people in the province of Leon, Spain. He is fluent in both Spanish and English. He enjoys traveling and has lived for a short time in Australia. When he isn't at work he is spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Peter Babinski retired in December 2020 from his full time medical practice. We wanted to thank him for the many years of service to the dermatology profession.
Please note that he may on occasion cover for Dr. Villacorta if an emergency arises.
Dr. Babinski still remains an active member in our local community and we wish him the best in his retirement.
Dr. Peter Babinski, known as Dr. B, is a practicing dermatologist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for over 43 years. Dr. Babinski's scope of practice includes diagnosing and treating medical conditions of the skin, hair, and nails, skin cancer, other skin growths and conditions, and sexually transmitted infections and AIDS skin conditions.
Education
Dr. Peter Babinski received his Ph.D. in mycology from Rutgers University, interning at Columbia University in New York City and its sister hospital in New Jersey. He attended Boston University, where he received his medical degree. He became board trained at Boston University Medical Center, having been appointed Chief Resident in Dermatology for two years.
Dr. Babinski is an active member of our community, both personally and professionally.
