Bill Patterson

Bill has over 36 years in commercial and hospitality development. Prior to joining MONARCH he co-founded the Pattson-Post Development Company in 1977 that purchased, developed, managed, and leased commercial and multi-tenant buildings up to 250,000 s.f.. industrial and commercial complexes, as well as multi-family residential units were developed, managed and sold under this partnership. During this time period, the partnership also formed The Four Sisters Inns, specializing in purchasing, developing and managing small luxury inns located from San Diego, CA. to Seattle, WA.. Following the acquisition and development of 19 inns, Mr. Patterson sold his interest in the company to his partner in 1988. In 1988 Bill started Waterford Hotels and Inns, a hotel management and consulting company with his business partner Bruce Hraba. Clients included the Hotel Savoy in San Francisco, The Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, and Silverado Country Club in Napa, California amoung others. While the company continues successfully today, Mr. Patterson sold to his partner in 1994 due to the extensive travel required. In 1989 Bill formed the Patterson Group, specializing in real estate brokerage, consulting, and development of commercial properties. His clients included Nordson Crp., Paul Kagan Associates, CTB McGraw Hill, Dart Companies, U.S. Leasing, and SBC Global, amoung many others. He is an experienced board member, having served as Executive Board Member of the Boys and Girls Club, the Ralph Knox Foundation, and Summit Expeditions. Bill is a graduate of Washington State University where he received his BS Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Brian McDonald - CFO

Brian has over 30 years of finance experience with high technology companies in Silicon Valley. In addition to his role at MONARCH he also serves as a Chief Financial Officer of a private technology company in the Santa Clara Valley. He also holds an Independent Director role and is Audit Committee Chairman at another private tech company. Prior to this Brian was Chief Financial Officer, Senior VP and Secretary at Advanced Analogic Technologies (AATI) a public Silicon Valley Company. Brian was instrumental in taking AATI successfully through the IPO process in 2005. Prior to ATTI Brian has held senior financial positions at Monolithic Power Systems, Elantec Semiconductor, Mattson Technology, Micro Linear, National Semiconductor and Read-Rite Corporation. He is an experienced senior financial executive with outstanding credentials and a proven record of results. He has been directly involved in raising over $300M in private and public equity and directly involved in over $2B in M&A transactions. His strong background in M&A, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Development, Cash Management, Information Technology, Legal Affairs and Investor Relations is very useful in MONARCHS asset management requirements and growth expectations. Brian holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University

Don Schwartz

Don has over 30 years in the Development and Construction field and oversaw all phases of project and asset management for a family owned construction business. The last 7 years he has led and guided a hospitality company in developing hospitality properties in the Northwest. Don's responsibilities for MONARCH are to ensure that the process of land acquisition, development, architectural design, construction and budgets are maintained based on preset project guidelines. His broad knowledge of building products and construction phases coupled with excellent relationships with skilled subcontractors contribute to MONARCHS concise bidding and maintenance of project costs. He works effectively with our architects, engineers, strategic partners, lenders, general contractors, inspectors, municipalities, decorators, agents, investor procurement and management. His familiarity with the lending and equity markets has proven invaluable to MONARCHS investors in bringing the best available financing or equity based on project and investor needs. He is also responsible for maintaining relationships with Hotel Franchisors (Marriott, Hilton, Starwood-Westin) for its branded hotel properties.

MICHAEL STRENG

Mike has over 18 years experience in real estate acquisitions, real estate investing, real property valuations, mortgage financing, hard money lending, and commercial real estate underwriting. He began his professional career in 1996 in the mortgage banking.industry. In 2001 Mike opened and operated his own mortgage lending company (Northlake Financial Group) located in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Streng has been a residential loan underwriter, loan document drawer, loan originator, mortgage branch manager, and owner. In 1993 Mike was certified as a Real Estate Agent Instructor for the State of Washington in the areas of finance and marketing. Mike has written several state courses that are still taught in Washington today. Mike has also been very successful in his own personal experience as a Real Estate investor, in which he has worked through strategic relationships to acquire and rehab distressed Real Estate. Mike has extensive knowledge in operations management, information & technology systems, accounting, team leadership, human resources, and goal accountability. His specialties include real estate investing, consulting, finance, (private and institutional), client relationship management, business branding and identity, systems and work flow development. Mike completed his collegiate education at Seattle Pacific University School of Business and Economics.

Randy Strawn

Randy has 28 years of experience in Project Management, Development, Structural Design and Field Engineering. Randy is the Founder and President of Strawn Construction in San Jose, California. His experience includes Management of new construction and modernization projects for multiple school districts (from program development to project close out). Project Manager/Engineer of Agricultural Facilities and commercial Research and Development Buildings (from land groundbreaking to tenant build-out). Residential Development for 12 unit subdivision (from land acquisition to construction final). Project Management background includes estimating and general supervision, bidding sub trades, securing material and project scheduling. Engineering intensive in structural design of steel and concrete construction; also design and supervision of construction of Agricultural Facilities. Randy's responsibilities with MOMARCH are to manage the Gernal Contractor during the constrctuion phase. In multiple build projects, Randy will supervise all aspects of the construction from start to close out.
